Deadset the Cap'n waffles on at times.

He is to this forum like Bill Collins was to fillums. You know the far can know all critic.

You quants just don't like a dose of reality. We get 4 freebie points before some teams get byes. We lose when they do get byes the games won becomes real and relevant.

But hey, I don't mind doing the thinking for you old farts

I just don’t wanna hear it… but I’ve always said why give points for byes at all?

How about a spreadsheet that shows position based on equitable games played instead of rounds then?

Surely not too hard (I think we're still second and the bunnies are further down the table because it won't count their win against the Broncs... until everyone gets a chance for a 9th game).

Or count Byes as 1 not 2 points so half-pregnant (we're third); or 0 - which will distort the ladder in the other direction due to less opportunities (still 3rd)?

OK, but you need to give me an objective, fact based definition of equitable.

Wouldn't change the fact that we're second with less games won.

The message is simple, don't get overexcited till the dust settles.

How about something like this:
Rearranged based on percentage of games won.

Sorry Frenzy and DJDL (too many beers when I asked) but Yep!
If you remove the "2 points for Byes" you could end up with this:

Nice one @fizzgig.
I knew I was forgetting something - remove the 2 points for the bye!
That’s what happens when you start spreadsheeting before you’ve finished your first coffee haha.
