Hopefully, playing on the left, he can recapture his 2014 form. Shame we let Nabuli go, he would have been perfect outside Lafai - plus they are both tall and would have been lethal in attack under the high ball. Can we get him back off the Reds.

IMO, all of our wing options are better than poor old Nabuli was.

Nabuli is nothing like the current signings.

He was actually a carbon copy of the Lafai signing - prolific try scorer 2 years before, followed by a quiet year ( in Nabuli's case due to a knee injury - a better excuse than Lafai's ). Nabuli did well for us - considering our left centre options were pretty average, to say the least, in attack and giving their winger good ball and space.
It's all academic though, Nabuli's gone and no-one even knows who will be our left wing this year.

Lol what rubbish!

Nabuli was a prolific tryscorer in NSW Cup, hadnt played a minute of first grade prior to us aigning, and for good reason. Lafai, on the other hand, was the form centre in the first grade comp a year prior to signing, and copped a heavy injury and was being played on his less prefered side this year. Attempting to compare the two is laughable.

The guy was constantly caught out in defense, made little impact or metres despite his size and had little to no agility (and little speed even when he was in the clear). He was resigned when he caught the ball and fell over the line a few times, then let go when they realised he was a bit of a plank. Mata'utia will start at left wing this year, where he is superior to Nabuli in every aspect bar physical height. Milne and KFFL are also better wing options. YKG would have even had a better chance at first grade.

In summary, had we kept Nabuli, he would have been handy for Cutters.

None of that is true. You think just because you say it, it's the truth, that seems to be your go. Our worst defender last year was Mata'utia - look at the stats. Also strike rate, Nabuli - 7 tries from 13 games, Mata'utia 8 from 21. Nabuli was also much better at racing in and cutting off the attack ( as he was coached to do ) than PM who can make some terrible reads in defence - watch his last 3 games.
You want to promote PM to wing even though he's slower than Nabuli was, rarely breaks a tackle and is our worst defender.
