I was told Lafai will be a straight swap with Hopoate
definite interest in Hiku, however not getting my hopes up as we have a history of missing out
Bird - pretty much said he won't come back!

What I found interesting is the Dragons met with Barber before Hiku??

Just needed a tidy up around the fringe.

Even Bellamy couldn't fix Barba based on this year's form. Hopoate?? Des must know something we don't because he was very average last year. My order of preference, if we ever get one of the players mentioned in the media would be:
Roberts
Lafai
Hiku
AND LAST for me would have been Hopoate.

I'm expecting Hoppa to get back to his best next year. I seem to be the only guy on the forum that does but I'm backing him.

You and Vasilevsky. You're in great company there.

TBH, Hoppa's best wasn't really anything to pay big money for. He was a good winger at Manly and didn't disappoint when he was prematurely selected for SOO. Would say the same for any number of players.
