Monday AM - Golf

That gives everone some time to arrive on Sat morning, and time to shoot through on Monday afternoon. That's assuming we get a Sunday game.

I have booked a flight for my wife and I. We'll be there on Friday night and leaving Monday night. I hope we don't get a friday night game or I might have to revise my flight. We'll probably stay near the Casino.

Well, at this stage I'm planning on driving down Saturday and driving home Monday, so if we get a Friday night game that'll make a mess for me, too!

The Casino's nice and central McSharkie, if you trust your wife around the Queen Street Mall all day Saturday with your credit card! ;-) :lol: Seriously - good spot. Not too far from Lang Park either.

It's good to see you guy's planning your trip. There's plenty of thing's to do up here, as for the best / fair priced golf courses up here, I can't help you there. But if there is anything I can help with, feel to ask.

PLenty of keen sharks fans in Brissy, and the local game is always a good get together, Fiz, Pierre etc put on a great time and this year will be our first game at Lang PArk as opposed to ANZ.

Let's see who is going to the game that lives in brissy, and anyone else that may travel up for it ? trust me, the locals look after us really well and you make some great sharky mates.

Even us Manly fans that cheer for anyone playing against Brissy are willing to shout a beer huh beeks ;-) I'll be there to keep Fizman out of trouble (or maybe that's the other way if we smuggle Pierres jungle juice in again) :lol:

The carlton crest is a fine hotel mate, can recommend it, just dont get room 304, there are some pretty foul stains next to the bed If i remember correctly from my last visit .....

Carlton Crest is a great spot for Lang Park and Casino - right in the city.
But I don't think you can book through wotif.com until about 2 weeks before the date.
