Of course not. I don't like "listen and believe" I prefer somethong closer to "trust but varify". That's why, as hard as it is, victims need to come forward straight away so the authorities can gather physical evidence etc. Much more chance of a result.

Of course not. I don't like "listen and believe" I prefer somethong closer to "trust but varify". That's why, as hard as it is, victims need to come forward straight away so the authorities can gather physical evidence etc. Much more chance of a result.

Why? He's not the only one in the thread who's had something happen. Not all victims have the same opinions. I acknowledged it is hard. Because it is. You're terrified and embarrassed but it is the best way to get justice.

I'm sorry it happened to you. Really sucks. I know the emotions that go along with it. I still haven't told anyone but my partner and anonymously on r/nrl while discussing the Langlands thing. It went a lot further with me. Was someone I trusted and looked up too.

I think that where a person who is held in a position of trust, is the perpetrator, would be far more devastating than what I experienced.
