Should be able to get to both. Probably will need a week away by the time August rolls around. Maybe finally I'll be able to get to a game at the GC after last year's unfortunate illness mishap :x

In case you were not looking that far ahead, The Parramatta Eels have a 2 game SE Queensland Road trip. Round 22 the Eels play the Titans at Skilled Park and Round 23 the Eels play the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

Now the purpose of this thread is 2 fold, firstly to judge who would be willing to travel up to these games and who in SE Qld / Northen NSW will be looking to attend a game or games that are closer then Parramatta Stadium.

If the numbers are good it could mean that the club could also work to have an event in SE Qld during the week like a Queensland based fan day or a Player signing session or an Open training session, to give back to our Regional fans and those that have traveled up.

The second purpose is to try to get enough attention so these games that the club (Parramatta) in conjunction with the Titans and the Broncos request from #9 or Fox to have these games in a relatively short turn around time to allow the Eels fans to travel and stay in SE Qld for a reasonable amount of time no greater then 1 week, (Hey hotels are expensive and staying with friends can only work for so long).

To this end I am hopeful the Eels would play the Titans on the Sunday afternoon (Be it 2:00pm or 3:00pm) at Skilled Park, followed up with a Friday night game against the Broncos at Suncorp (Considering they almost always get those). This allows Eels fans to travel to and from the game on the Saturdays, regardless on their mode of transport be it Flight or Drive or indeed Train and this could mean more fans make the trip.

So if all of the above were to happen, Who would be up for the trip and a week in SE Qld? I know I am already penciling it into my work and annual leave schedule and if so how would you get there, personally I am thinking of driving as the cost of a hire car might be a bit to much. Drive up Saturday, Sunday Game.

MITS

The club will be looking into organising a trip for the week for both games. An open training session with a signing session would be provided.

As you mentioned, it's all pending the draw and hopefully they give us a short turn around.

Packages such as flights and accommodation will be drawn up as well as just tickets for both games.

We may be able to go, take the whole fam for a holiday to Queensland. Parra playing 2 weeks in a row is a good excuse. Now I will just have to talk Dean into it!
