Fifteen years ago I was saying super league should copy the nrl and get all games televisedOf course you'd know more than RFL and IMG about what a Sl club should be lol
on top of getting fta coverage

Exactly! Not sure what your point is though in a discussion on populations.12.8 million are soccer fans
Super league can’t support the number of teams in the m62Exactly! Not sure what your point is though in a discussion on populations.
So the answer is swapping them for clubs with lower appeal? Hmmm sounds a great strategy.Super league can’t support the number of teams in the m62
Clubs who get 3 to 4K in super league don’t really have much appealSo the answer is bringing in clubs with lower appeal? Hmmm sounds a great strategy..
If the only criteria was crowds you’d have point, but it isn’t so you dont.Clubs who get 3 to 4K in super league don’t really have much appeal
toulose will double that easily
London would beat it too
Bradford would more then double
have Wakey been missed from super league ?
would hudds be missed ?
Heck if it wasn’t for the derby do they really need kr
Putting teams in places most people in England have never heard of in place of major cities isn’t a smart strategyIf the only criteria was crowds you’d have point, but it isn’t so you dont.
hudds avg’d 5,247 last season. Wakey have already sold 6k season tickets for next season in championship. Toulouse in 2022 in SL avg’d 4,974. Your argument is poorly constructed.
Unlike nrl there is a clear pathway for any club with Superleague ambitions, including the ones you’ve named.
yeh getting rid of an A grade club makes total sense, in your head only lol
putting teams in sydney suburbs instead of major cities in australia and NZ isnt either then I suppose?Putting teams in places most people in England have never heard of in place of major cities isn’t a smart strategy
Sydney is like Londonputting teams in sydney suburbs instead of major cities in australia and NZ isnt either then I suppose?
The pathway for any city to join exists.Sydney is like London
a major city which supports many teams of its popular football code
there’s a reason the tv deal in England keeps shrinking it’s the footprint
Better late than never I guessThe pathway for any city to join exists.
Build a club, get an A grade, you're in SL.
The doors now open at least in SL.
If only the NRL would follow SL!Better late than never I guess
What bringing back Annandale and Glebe. ?If only the NRL would follow SL!
Whoever was highest grading. Instead of carrying bludgers year after year whilst locking out other opportunitiesWhat bringing back Annandale and Glebe. ?
Nrl doesn’t have p and rWhoever was highest grading. Instead of carrying bludgers year after year whilst locking out other opportunities
Imagine keeping in a club like Manly when you could have a club like Perth. You seem to want SL to be open to new clubs at the expense of existing clubs, but not same for NRL?Nrl doesn’t have p and r
imagine a club like the broncos being relegated for Newtown
Manly over Perth any dayImagine keeping in a club like Manly when you could have a club like Perth. You seem to want SL to be open to new clubs at the expense of existing clubs, but not same for NRL?
and there's your hypocrisy lolManly over Perth any day
bears too
nrl has a huge geographic footprint already
super league doesn’t
png will be the next nrl club as you are well aware.
No bears in nrl but Perthand there's your hypocrisy lol
Did you see the gradings and what London got? If someone wants to spend ten years and pump in millions to get London/Newcastle/Sheffield etc up the level of HKR, great they'll be in.No bears in nrl but Perth
no London in super league but hull kr•
•replace London with Newcastle Sheffield etc
