According to Channel 10 news, Parramatta have once again refused to release Jamie Lyon from his contract. There was speculation that the matter could even end up in court. Parramatta said that Jamie Lyon COULD play for Wee Waa this year, but only if he agreed to certain conditions. Wonder what they were.

Also interviewed Jason Moodie, who said a win on sunday would be a "personal victory" for him and Brett Hodgson.

Thanks for Cleal By the way ;-) . We can now take country juniors and claim them as 'our own'.

Read up on the privatisation. it's funny because no one outside of the club has NFI of the conditions. Delmege winds up with 15% of the club, And a New AFL styled membership system is introduced. I've got no problem with Delmege owning a major yet unimportant chunk of the club...

Great to see that the club is sticking to its guns. Again if he wants to leave let him go, just compensate parramatta. Restriction of trade issues to the side, to stop this crap from ever happening again and I mean all the walk abouts there should be a non performance clause that if players want out they shoud compensate the club and amount of money based on time (years) played, total contract term and amount paid to date. The clause should be at the NRL level to cover all players.

Furthermore to that Unreal V,

That if another club pays that amt for the player, it must be part of their salary cap.

It says alot about your current playing strength to be under the cap by that much. ;-)

It does indeed Sully. How does it feel only being a team that's 5 points better, even though you've spent the cap up?

Sharks 28-Manly 20 (8 points)
Sharks 30-Manly 28 (2 points)

Averages out to 5! Very crude I know.

Sully-Hows that Bet Looking? You seemed so confident but you trailed off when we got down to the specifics...

I recall it was at least three tries in one game for Stewart by the end of 2006, with one try being scored from inside Manly's 20m area. ;-)

And I recall requesting that the last condition being waivered if he scores more than three. ;-) . You shouldn't be too afraid of that. It'd take some kind of freak to score 4 tries in a match.
