Sorry but I wouldn’t touch him, except with a set of weight scales!
He looked good in a great premiership Roosters team, but I’d like to see how he looked with the Titans!
Agree.
He’s just like Inglis, brilliant at times but goes missing for long periods of time which is ok if you’re in a team with plenty of class players who pick up the slack. Like you said CD I’d like to see him in a struggling side.

LM is no doubt one ofbthe most damaging players going around, when he's on, he's just about unstoppable, however, when he's off, he's almost invisible on the field. This is his issue.
Is he worth 800k? imo no. Is he a fullback? Imo no, so demanding 'spine' money just isnt practical or economically viable, especially his on/off game play.
Have to remember that LM knocked back huge offers from the Titans and the Tigers, and you have to wonder why if the driver isn't money. Could it be simply he just wants to play for a team who would win a premiership? If so, why leave the Roosters? Further to this why did Robinson so bluntly allow him to go?
Imo, LM is good when hiding amonst a good team, his deficiencies become highlighted when the team plays poorly and he becomes no better than a player earning base salary. His mental demons are also well known.

My take is, he will not come to the Dragons, mainly tor the reasons above and the fact he knocked back offers at huge $$ previously.
I believe he will stay at the Rabbits, or leave the game entirely.

After winning the last two grand finals, a player like LM (who I must say won the Roosters a lot of games in tries scored and goals kicked) needed more challenges and joining the Bunnies to play fullback was one challenge he is trying to succeed in.

Putting that aside, why he left the Roosters is something puzzling seeing that he had a great team to play with and the thought of winning three in a row was a big thing and you'd think he would have wanted to stay with them for that reason. Maybe the challenge of being successful at fullback was greater than winning the three in a row, maybe he could not stand Robbo, maybe it was just a case of his success going to his head.

I am positive that he will not join the Dragons (in fact I don't think that the club would be keen to sign him anyway). Our "limited" culture would not suit him. It's as simple as that.

It’s a no from me, if Bennett brought anyone with him I’d take Campbell Graham. I’d even take Roberts over Mitchell, just love his speed.

Please elaborate, what is 'our "limited" culture'?

The Dragons have a diverse, rich and expansive culture in the communities of the Illawarra region and much of the Georges River area. I don't think that Latrell would fit into the way that we go about our day to day goings on. What I mean is that he would see his way of life not fitting in with our culture.

So, not so "limited"?

The Club certainly does have a history of diversity, and this is supported by the players who have pulled on a Saints jersey since 1921. But this is not necessarily 'our' culture as you put it. You'll find it in many places.

Still can't see why you think Latrell wouldn't fit into this culture or way of life - it is diverse as you say and by definition open to all. Precisely why wouldn't he fit in?

Yes, a struggling side like The Dragons. To be fair, with our administration most players are starting from behind the eight ball.

Nathan Cleary from Penrith has now been caught out , with a number of very pretty gals snuggling up to him on Anzac Day . Has profusely apologized to one and all for the incident .
Oops. Daddy may not be too happy....again..Tsk tsk tsk
Penrith have had a few let’s say saucy issues in the past few years amongst their ranks involving.....social activities and few of their better profile players
I’m sure all clubs probably have them but Penrith”s seem to make the media a lot

Like the other two flogs Mitchell & JAC, Cleary just needs to apologise and say he was doing in tough & needed to reconnect with his roots. FMD this game is filled with self centred buffoons

Post 277 . Moderator , with respect - I was watching Nine News on the telly when the story about Cleary was reported , hence the reason for no link .
