It only feels sudden because it wasnt leaked 1 month in advance.

RL fans are just too used to having the media hear this news before the coach even has a chance to find out...

I doubt he'd have time to do it. He's on breakfast radio 5 days a week, and TV at least 2 nights of the week. Doesn't leave much time for coaching.
