Lozza called a terrible game against the Knights, granted. I haven't heard the call from today, as, like SS, I was AT THE GAME. But, I'll check it out through the week and form my own opinion. If it was as ordinary as you say, I'll use that link Beekershark posted two weeks ago and give FOX a spray.

Now, here's something else for those sitting at home and having a whinge about Lozza's call. Unless (like Tama, Pierre, Fiz, Imasharkie) you live interstate or a decent distance from the Shire, get off the couch and go to the matches people!

I have a THREE HOUR (read it, 3) drive EACH WAY to get to the games. Today, thanks to snow and ice closing several highways, I JUST made it for kickoff. Fearing further road closures heading home, I hung around for 30 minutes after the game and headed home again. Normally though I stick around to go to the presentations, etc.

So, call Lozza a w@nker all you like. You can turn his commentary on FOX off, and just listen to the ref or the crowd now anyway. BUT, if you live anywhere within a 150 km radius of the Shire (ie, Kiama or Nowra, Lithgow, Lower Hunter/top end Central Coast), you'll get no bloody sympathy from me!

Not me , but some people who have young kids can be excused for watching it on tele I think. No to mention the price of going to the footy with a family and who'd would want to do that yesterday with kids in tow.

In all fairness though people pay to watch Fox and get a fair unbiased call of the game .This is regardless of how lazy they are in terms of going to the game. Daley doesn't give this . He is pathetic .

But that's a fair point you make. There is far too much activity on these forums during a game, if you love the team enough to spend your spare time posting endlessly on a message board about them, get off your f**kin arse and get to the game. Especially on days like yesterday when the hill was completely empty. Looked like 6000-7000 crowd. Travelling 3 hours each way, good on ya, now that's a fan.

f**k, it wasnt even all that cold yesterday

From someone who had to stand around in a jersey and footy shorts for 70 minutes - yes it was bloody cold. I Don't know how pissed you were yesterday SS, but it was bloody cold let me tell you.

I was deadset freezing my testicles off. Sure, you run around and do a few hitups and make a few tackles, but that only keeps you warm for so long! Pretty soon your whole body just starts to get numb...

And to make it worse, we had to play some wankers from Manly, so we had to go all the way to some place called 'Belrose'. On the plus side, we belted them and now we get a Keg of grog for the end-of-season trip, courtesy of the club.8)

That's my excuse for not going yesterday. That and it was friggen cold.
