I raised the issue on here some time ago that they should run a program over the offseason to find a new commentator.

Would be great television in the entertainment value and for the first time ever, there would be a commentator that has actually had to qualify some how for a position. Make it a popularity contest of sorts to involve the public and you have yourselves a hand picked public choice calling the games, or atleast adding value.

Personally I'm sick of the ex player theme (just because they played doesn't make them the best for the job).
