I reckon they could do worse than get Johns somehow involved in the NSW coaching set-up. Reads the game. Probably not right for the week-in/week-out of club coaching, but if they're grooming Freddie as the heir apparent I'd like to see Joey as his no. 2

Read somewhere that Cordner is in doubt for Game 3 already.

Unlikely, and not wanting it to happen, but Gal would not hesitate in answering an SOS
Did you see his face when they interviewed him after the loss. Could've broken glass with that sour look upon his face.
I think he played 80 minutes in the first game and second, I remember seeing him blowing hard in both.

For all the shit they get for being somewhat childish, Johns and Fittler do have great footy brains that could be used more in the set-up. I'm surprised that Johns hasn't been a head coach yet, he probably can't handle a full-time gig I suppose.

Yep.
Lambs to the slaughter at suncorp.
Mentally fried.

The 7 Pearce has no resilience. Falls in a heap when he runs out and sees JT over the halfway stripe. The blue jumper is his kryptonite.

Daley has no idea how to get in their heads and make them believe the bad men from up north are truly beatable.
He deadset would've had Farah running around again with Tamou if sterlo hadnt taken fultons gig and told him that qld have been toying with those tossers for 10 years.

Am l the only person who thinks cordner is a myth. A good 2nd rower..but the media push behind this bloke has him 2nd to whoever invented penicillin.
Give me wadeo any day of the week

Woods...lol.
Morris..ha.
Haynes...pphht.
Pearce..never has. Never will.
Daley....lost 4 from 5. Nuff said.

Means everything to the Toads and we are trying to replicate that so they beat us at their own game. We should go out there and have fun with it. That would make them turn inside out with rage if we were to disrespect (in their eyes) the whole thing. Remember how SOO was dead after the Blues flogged them. The thing they remember most was the try celebrations. If we play with that sort of abandon we'd probably role em. That's what we should have done in the second half last night.

Maloney would be better.
Guys like him and play for him. Like Langer...the team clown but on the park does the business.

Cordner....booooring. wouldnt motivate a pig to be dirty.
Josh jackson shits all over him as a player.

FMD lads. There were 2 points in the game and NSW led for 70% of it. Could've easily gone either way. The way some of you are carrying on was like it was 40 nil.

NSW had a good first half and just failed to close it out in the second. Qld weren't great. There's plenty more points in NSW than Qld, IMO. And I support the farkers.

Third game should be great and could go either way again. No Sharks injuries or suspensions and I'm happy. If Qld win, great. If NSW win, well at least the Sharkies boys will be happy.

I already know the answer to this one but : Question from the floor without notice.

Does anyone remember what kept Slater out of the game for a season?

JT anyone.

Johns already played a role in the NSW squad a few years back but he said something that upset a dark fella who was part of the playing roster, so goes the hyper sensitive f**king world we live in these days.

smh.
