Technically you could say Ricky Stuart, he 'featured' in the 1989, 1990 and 2002 Grand Final. But seriously, Kevin Walters (1999 for Canberra, 1992 for Brisbane and 2000 for Brisbane) would have to be it.

You could technically have Steve Folkes in 4 decades.

Where do you get that number? From my readings the Roosters are seventy-three (I think) points short of the total at the end of the season, taking until a goal against Cronulla to finish that tally to 30,000.

At the end of 2008, they're sitting on 33,458.

33,458
- 511 (2008 points for)
- 445 (2007 points for)
- 528 (2006)
- 488 (2005)
- 710 (2004)
- 680 (2003)
--------------
30,096

So after subtracting all points scored from 2003 to present, they're still sitting on 30,096.

They scored 30 in the 2002 grand final, bringing it back to 30,066.

In the Prelim against Brisbane they scored 16, so it comes back to 30,050.

They scored 38 against Newcastle in the second week of the finals so that brings the points scored back to 30,012.

Against the Sharks in week 1 of the finals, they won 32-20, meaning before that game started they were sitting on 29,980. They led 12-8 at half time, so they were on 29,992. Fitzgibbon kicks a penalty taking the score to 29,994. Then Mullins scores a try - 29,998. Fitzgibbon converts, 30,000.

Like someone before you have missed the points the Roosters scored in finals matches. We scored 511 in the regular season this year, but scored another 29 in the finals.

So it should be:

33,458
- 540 (2008 - missed 29 finals points)
- 445 (2007)
- 528 (2006)
- 488 (2005)
- 780 (2004 - missed 70 finals points)
- 750 (2003 - missed 70 finals points)
--------------
29,927

Round 1 - Beat Eels 32-14 (Scored 29,959)
Round 2 - Beat Knights 14-10 (Scored 29,973)
Round 3 - Lost to Panthers 22-23 (Scored 29,995)

The first try in the Sharks match took us to 29,999 and Fitzy's goal took it over the 30,000.

10. WHO AM I!!!
I was born in a place in New South Wales beginning with B, where I would eventually represent my state and country. I played for my first club in the early part of the 90's where a premiership was won, before switching to three other clubs, whom I didn't see representative football with. I captained my last side and was named in my first side's team of the decade.

Kevin Walters it is.

The only player to feature in GFs in three different decades.

Technically, the 2000 gf was in the same decadethat started in 1991 - given that the first decade was from year 1 to year 10.

Sorry, was thinking he was a Panther in 90-91, but it was Chris in 90.

Technically, Fittler fits the bill. Played in the 8th decade (1990), the 9th decade (1991, 2000) and the 10th decade (2002-4).

Chris Mortimer played in 79, 80 84, 85, 86, 90.

OK. Here's another one.

ROUND 3

3.1) Which three sports was Herb Messenger a champion at?

3.2) Who was the understudy to Billy Smith as St George's halfback in 1975?

3.3) What is the claim to fame of John Rheinberger?

3.4) Who was the first Eel junior to captain his country?

3.5) Which try scorer in a Challenge Cup final had a son who played in the last World Cup final?

3.6) What club had Johnny Raper in their juniors?

3.7) Apart from the SCG, SFS, Homebush and Lang Park, which 6 NSW or QLD grounds have hosted Test matches since WWI?

3.8) What is the connection between the 1954 Challenge Cup Final and the 1979 Grand Final?

3.9) What is the claim to fame of the 1921 North Sydney Backline and halves?

3.10) Who am I? I never signed a contract with a Sydney club. I made my name playing country football, and was roundly criticised when I made my debut Kangaroo Tour, but played 22 tests before I retired. I once had a handshake agreement with Peter Moore to play for Canterbury, who gave me permission to relinquish that deal. I arrived at the ground for my last game in a police car. I played with 4 immortals, one in a club jumper. I set a record which I didn't start until I was 26. Two Rugby League grounds bear my name.

These are some good ones. Lets try.

1. Other than Rugby League Herb Messenger was also a champion at Rugby Union and Sailing, but also played Aussie Rules and Cricket.

3. Didn't he only play one first grade game which was the 1975 Grand Final?

5. James Leuluai scored in the 1985...ish one? I think Thomas was hooker in the 08 one.

8. My guess is the winning halfback won man of the match in both?

Southern Rooster -

3.2 - Mark Shulman - incorrect

3.6 - Newtown - no. Was Chooks first club, but they bodgeyed his address to get around the residential rule.

3.7 - Dairy Farmers at Townsville - correct. Others, incorrect.

3.9 - Correct. 1-7 all selected for the Kangaroo tour - never been done since.

3.10 - Mick Cronin - Correct (Bugger - thought I'd have a 10 page argument over that one like Non Terminator gets with his lol!)
These are some good ones. Lets try.

8. My guess is the winning halfback won man of the match in both?
