I get where Mis is coming from, definitely a lot more style than substance. That doesn't bother me though, still made it high up on my list.

Don't even get me started on how overrated those films are. I've seen and enjoyed them multiple times, but they're also a lot more style than substance.

I like Vader, and he'll likely fit onto my count-down, but I'd hardly have him near the top of an 'all time greatest villains' list. He's kind of a pussy, and the films explaining his backstory only made it worse. What a whinging merkin.

It is 'Favourite Villains', though, so it's much of a muchness. I just find him to be a pretty weak character and not particularly menacing.

Vader's popularity as a villain stems from his aura. He's kind of like the Undertaker of villains... it's the greatest gimmick in the most popular movies of all-time. He's also a visceral villain, as his menace comes more from his appearance rather than his personality.

As a result, whilst he'll certainly make my list because I love Star Wars, he won't be as high as Nurse Ratchet for example, who is a far more loathsome villain.

Vader was on my list and I tried to forget that inside that black armour was Hayden fkn Christiansen. I tried look at him thru the eyes of the kid i was when I first saw those movies.

My top 3 were more about performances than anything else, but a couple villains in my list hardly had any lines in their films - I just remember hating/fearing them first time I watched their films
