You are a dead set idiot...no way will we be getting relegated this season, but nor will we be getting promoted either. But we have assembled a solid squad and will most likely finish somewhere in the upper middle of the table. So if your not going to say anything worth while don't say anything at all.

Lack of confidence (nor will we getting promoted) honestly :?

I go watch these boys week in week out, and things are getting better.

Blackwell, get's my nod.

Raiders, Your right about Joachim and Ricketts, though Dean has been playing awesome too.

We are leeds, we tried to buy success and we ended up in the 2nd division in receivership. Glory Glory to us

There was mis-management, yes, by David O'Leary but Ridsdale's ego got in the way & he was the one who had to say no to the transfers at the end of the day.

It's sickening to think that Leeds are on a Coca-Cola tour these days & the failure of West ham to go back up last year shows how difficult it is but Leeds have been in the second flight in recent history & bounced back to win the premiership soon after promotion...

When you're Marching On Together, anything is possible!!

Sorry Ben, but O'Leary NEVER mis-managed Leeds in the slightest. After all that was NOT his job. He started to see the light when EVERY single one of his suggestions were approved by Peter Ridsdale, no questions asked. Ridsdale was the person who tracked down Mark Viduka on holiday to offer him a wage of 55k pounds per week, so to blame O'Leary is simply NOT true. I still love Leeds, even after my original post ... they deserve so much more than what Ridsdale did to them. But dont blame O'Leary, he had nothing to do with it. Every manager makes suggestions and hopes their club will buy them, but NOT to the extent of how much Ridsdale allowed it. Not even Man U bought that many players and they are FAR richer than Leeds.

And then we signed players like Fowler and Keane who got an average game here and there (high earners) we signed Ferdinand for 18 Mill he was on a pretty hefty wage, by then we were already in debt, and even with the 20+ million we got for Ferdinand it was never going to pay it off, because we had all these wages to pay with little money.

Ridsale was awesome whilst it lasted he got my respect, but once he let Woodgate and Bowyer go that was it.

O'Leary will alway's be a legend at Elland Road, judging by last season when Villa visted Leeds in the PL the whole KOP were singing O'Leary, O'Leary, O'Leary just like the Old days.

This season, with the whole new squad i don't belive that we can click in time to charge to the top of the table this season, though i maybe wrong and would be very happy if that happened :D , but i belive a realistic goal is to finish in the top 10. IF they managed to do that after the start that they have got off to i would be content with it. It would also allow us to improve our squad more and give guys like Lennon and Walton a little more time to mature.

I also think Blackwall has done a great job, and done well rebuilding the squad in the off season...

The fact they were branned racists for abusing somebody who is a different skin tone from them was wrong, It happens every day doesn't mean it's a case against racism.

They are 2 highly skilled players, and once they were sold from our club, we lost it in defence and attack.
Woodgate can't be too bad a player judging him signing for Real Madrid 2 months ago.

I can see what your saying there champ, but every game the guys are jelling together and they are forming as a team.
Last season that is the one area we failed as a team, the players just didn't have the heart.
Also, I wouldn't like to see us bring any new players in untill we gain promotion.
It's important to keep the squad strong and each player to know the skills from the players who have played at Elland Road the previous season.

Wizzard, I like you :) you seem to know alot about Leeds :D

Or the fact they refused to be served by someone that was of a different skin tone then trashing the place because of it, brands them racists in my books.. typical of leeds scum to try and defend scum

And its typical of someone who hasn't got a fecking clue what they're on about to talk out of their ar5e. After reading this thread I have come to the, not too difficult conclusion, that you are a moron Mong. Of the highest order.

Now go do what you're best at Mong and go blow it out of your ar5e, you cretin.

Bowyer and Woodgate where scape goats for the media, this offcourse all changed as soon as they left Leeds. They where also blocked from the England set-up yet when Chelsea's John Terry found himself in a similar predicament he was picked and hailed as the best thing since sliced bread by the Pommy press.

Wankers.

'Bowyer For England!'

I was horrified when he came to the Hammers, thankfully we only had the dirty piece of shite for one season, it was the only good part of relegation !!

You f**king genius, what gives you the right to laugh at Leeds when you claim to be a Westham supporter who are also in the same Division of Leeds.

Just because your coming 5th in the table, doesn't proove your flying high, there are 6 points between the Hammers and Leeds, with 11 teams the differance, you'll struggle when it all falls down  .

Mong your a dead set idiot, so hit the high road.

I was a bit disappointed to hear that we have been after another striker when Rickets hasn't really been given a go, but the bid got turned down so we don't have to worry about that. Also sad to hear that Thorpe Arch has been sold, hopefully we will be able to aquire it back in the near future. Our Debt should be down to around 35 million which looks alot better then it was.

Yeah, Healy is a great player, but I'm confident Rickett's will deliever the good's any time soon, patiance is the key.

I'm quite chuffed with the sell of Thorpe Arch, we'll still have the training facilities we need, and the cash we also need.

I'm a bit peeved of I'll be missing the Preston Leeds match at Elland Road tomorrow, of to the Super League Grand Final to watch the Bulls :(
