Rubbish
35,000 out of the blue ... unpromoted is good ..aka these 2 last year (38K) at ANZ.. no cheaper tickets .. no freebies
or the Dogs V Parra games last year .. the fans just turned up with neither side going that well .. thats a good turnout

this game got a whole lot of attention & was a far far more attractive encounter then any of the above games
pouring rain at the SCG & we got 31K .... thats a good crowd

this had to get a lot more then that
it didn't
an epic fail it twas

Pretty sure last year you got a free T shirt to commemorate one of the old grand finals because it was heritage round. I only remember because it was promoted every day in the papers leading up to it.

Wonder what the raiders will get this weekend... More or less than 35k?

But but but we didn't promote it. Well thats good isn't it.

^ The NRL has a season average of around 17K, which places it in the top 15 most attended leagues in the world - higher than the NBA and NHL which you just mentioned.

Obviously we still have a long way to go but we are definitely heading in the right direction. It's your constant 'NRL crowds are shit and embarrassing' that pisses everyone off.

Indoor Sports shouldnt count imo

So you will get 1/3 of what the game you are crying about? Good work!

in a ground less then a 3rd of the size ... the home team running dead last of course .. unlike the game up there last friday
in temps .... a 1/4 of what they were last Friday Night .. in hardly the most attractive encounter we'll have down here this year
& what .. you think 12 or 13K is as good as we can do ?
even allowing for our year to date ...its the low end for us

but apparently around 35K is as good as its gets up there
& thats .. well .. pathetic :)

good one ... :lol::lol:

Ugh, is the whining in this thread still going?

It was a disappointing, but still decent crowd. They happen to all teams in all sports from time to time. Build a f**king bridge.
