I was very sad to see some of our long term players leave. It was like losing family. But remember they had faltered at the penultimate hurdle on several occasions. I still remember being berated by asshole Newcastle fans after they knocked us out in 2001?? (memory problems - too much VB) laughiing at us Cronulla losers who have never won anything and never will. Last year was our cleanout and building year - this year is it. We have the pack, we have got rid of Anderson, we have our shire team back with a local coach and a fresh approach. It will be a good year.
