Reports are saying if Locky doesn't wear a face mask he could risk going blind because the orbital bone, which keeps the eye in place, will still be exposed. I reckon the NRL should force him to wear it, it would be an awful look for the game if he does end up being blind in one eye.

If he is to play 5 days after getting 3 plates inserted in his face, he will need some protection.
:iwstupid: Let's ignore the fact high shots to the head are illegal. The refs shouldn't penalise Manly if they whack Lockyer in the face... :crazy:hopefully he wont get protection from the ref too- he has to expect the whacks to the face if he is to play with such an injury
