Actually, at that stage I played apex.

I won the 'best rookie' award.

I would have been shattered if I had missed out.
I was the only new kid in the team.

As the years went by, I ended up at left centre.
Eventually, my many sprained ankles, diminutive frame, average pace and mediocre ability saw me give it away.

I still enjoy watching the game though.

Flicking through the Sunday telegraph noticed an article on Supercoach McGuire and souths and there was a comment at the bottom of the article suggesting that souffs would win the premiership in the next 4 years. I mentioned this to my wife - she looked at me and said 'pffft, bullshit'.
