Armed robbery - Botany

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Botany overnight.
About 8.30pm (Wednesday 26 July 2012), two 17-year-old boys were walking on Edward Street, Botany, when they were approached by a teenage boy armed with a knife.
The boy threatened the two teenagers and demanded property.
He took an amount of cash and two mobile phones from the teenagers before fleeing on Edward Street towards James Bourke Place, where it is believed he entered a white sedan containing a second male.
The boy has been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 15 to 16 years old, 175cm to 180cm tall with an average build. He was wearing dark-coloured tracksuit pants.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
