Were any Dragons fans talking up their premiership chances early in the season? I highly doubt it.

The funniest part is that they resigned Mary at their short-lived peak this season

Top 4 next year with a good halfback.

We had a couple of dribblers carrying on like it was 2010 again. But generally most of us have been pretty grounded to rather p*ssed off at times. The bitterest pill is the resigning of McGregor so early despite no other club showing interest(and Cleary being available).

Widely tipped for the wooden spoon before a ball was kicked in anger, We were one win from making the 8, and the bald drunk is our coach for another 2 seasons. Sweet'n sour, yin'n yang, nah were fooked even with James.

How can you compromise you're factual point of view and post on LU?? After all, they list our premierships at 16.
Obviously a dragons supporter posted that. But considering NRL. You know the organization that runs the comp has you at 1.
You are at 1.

I've always found it fascinating how the Dragons seem to garner so much attention from this forum.

Punters with sportsbet.com.au have taken a huge liking to St George Illawarra during the opening rounds of the season, and it’ll cost the online bookie millions if they can remain on top of the ladder.

  • Dragons $101 into $15 to win NRL premiership
  • $5.00 out to $81 for Wooden Spoon
  • $151 into $10 to claim Minor Premiership
The Dragons have gone from $101 into $15 to win the title, with bets on $700 and $400 at that huge price of $101.

A Top 8 spot for the Red V looks a good thing at $1.38, but one punter got in early with a $2,000 wager at odds of $4.00.

An even more confident fan of Paul McGregor’s men placed $2,000 on the side to finish in the Top 4 at $3.00. They were as long as $13 at one stage.

“We’re already facing a $3 million payout if the Dragons go on and win the competition so we’re basically cheering for 15 other teams from here on in,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.

The worst thing about the Dragons losing today? We don't get to see them lose again this season.

For the final time in 2017...LOL@Dragons.
