I must admit I did LOL@Bunji, not so much the Tiggers. The lovefest that they have for him on Ch9 is pathetic.
It may be relevant after this weekend
ive been reading this anasta thing and i hear he will be getting around $200k per year with wests tigers. i disagree with alot of things sheens does but i actually believe this signing might not be as bad as some people are saying. the last 2 years when wests tigers were in the finals they lost because they made stupid errors towards the end of the game. you see this happening in alot of wests tigers games. it happened again yesterday against souths. farah and marshall can come up with very good plays but they seem to stuff up too often towards the end of games when its close. anasta seems better at keeping calm under pressure situations like this, and he knows how to win games when the team has a slight lead with 10 mins to go (which is more than i can say about marshall and farah). i believe wests tigers should have anasta as the halfback next season. i would even make him club captain
Will Gould be having a Benji masterclass on the footy show this week to take us through that last gasp bit of brilliance from their man man Bumji Marshall?
yes i dont support that club anymore and i have given my reasons why. i wasnt going to talk about that again though as i have moved on, but i was reading peoples thoughts about the whole anasta thing and thought i would say something about it. you shouldnt give up on 2012 yet. way too early for thatYou've abandoned the club, but thanks for your input. I still cling to shreds of hope for 2012, tatty as they are.
Simmons in talks to return as Sheens's sidekick
Daniel Lane
April 1, 2012
ROYCE SIMMONS could soon resume his role as Tim Sheens's right-hand man at the Wests Tigers following his shock dismissal as coach of English Super League side St Helens.
Simmons, who was replaced at the Tigers by Steve Georgallis when he left for England at the end of 2010, was Sheens's assistant for eight years from 2003, and the highlight of their partnership was the club's 2005 grand final victory.
His ability to speak the players' language allied with his achievements as a premiership-winning captain, a representative forward and former Penrith coach, made the 51-year-old a respected figure around the club.

Sheens told The Sun-Herald yesterday he had spoken briefly to Simmons about his future, but he stressed no offer had been made - yet. ''I've had discussions with Royce,'' Sheens said. ''When he comes back, I was going to have a talk to him but nothing has been decided in that area yet. Royce and I have worked together for a long time, so, again, all I have done is talked to Royce to see how he's feeling about the whole thing [in England] and I told him when he comes back, we'll sit down and have a talk about things.''
He might be cool under pressure but do you really think Benji will give the ball up in crunch time?
4 weeks of LOLs cannot overturn 40 years. Souffs are still the joke of the league.
