Long Live Cronulla

I for one do not want to se Cronulla fold. I will now list reasons for this. Please discuss...... unless you are a Sharks fan (Seriously boys and girls, you whine more than Raiders fans)

1. They are without a doubt the worst football team of the season thus far. Some of their plays, all of their defence, and the look on Sticky's face throughout all games this year have been priceless.

2. They have the worst fans of the league. All the more fun to poke sh*t at. Extremely poor crowd attendances, a ratsh*t stadium, and when the fans come out of hiding, they have the worst gags (gas masks at Kogarah), the worst humour, and they all find it extremely hard to string together half a sentence (Descendants of Tasmania anyone?).

3. They bought Corey Hughes.

4. They glass their girlfriends.

5. They marry their cousins.

REDV is that an absorbent plug of cotton..

Incorrect on all accounts. I am simply using what other league supporters claim to be the truth to fuel my argument. Come on forum user: DRAGONZ_RULE, you've seen the Channel 9 football commentary, you can see that when a game is reported on, it will only take into account the games that have actually been played as St George Illawarra Dragons.

My official Dragons Stubby Holder says year entered Premiership: 1999.

quote of the month, what a dumbass.
Does the SFS and ANZ ring a bell? Seeing your mob played there for many years. What a goose:?
No other teams play at ANZ? fmd.

you just keep believing that!

My bet is, you have NEVER seen your team win a premiership.

hahahah

ANZ was used by the Dragons as a temporary stadium for the Sydney Dragons fans during redevelopment of the existing stadium. How is that me being a dumbarse?

Perhaps have the old fogies at Cronulla do the same with Toyota, before it falls down.

Thank you very much for mixing my quotes in with those of other forum users. You should read up on forum etiquette.

I'm going to do an impersonation of forum user: hellteam.

*Dig, dig, dig, dig, dig*

40 years of no premierships and constant failures gives you a history. Albeit not a good one.

10 years of no premierships, but close calls, and a promising future will give you a history. It can only be a good one.

The fact that you go for the Broncos makes you exempt from making comments on any of the issues a club faces when its having a bad run. Simple as that.

Well so you are saying the St George Illawarra Dragons have a history of failure.

So in the first ten years of their existence
Cronulla Sharks 1963-1973 --- 1 grand final appearance (loss)
St Geo.Ill Dragons 1999-2009 --- 1 grand final appearance

So you will only do better then the Sharks if you make the final this year.

By the way, you are the worst Dragons supporter ever. As if you wouldn't claim the Dragons premierships.

speaking of redV
I wonder how the redV members feel who have to stand because they can't see the field from their pre purchased seats.

thats right people dont know the difference between a merger and as joint venture
What people still dont realise the stgeorge illawarra dragons is a joint venture not a merger, when the dragons win a premiership it will go under stgeorge dragons and stgeorge illawarra dragons.

No. If the St George Illawarra Dragons won a premiership, that would mean St George would've won 15 and St George Illawarra 1.

Wests and Balmain aren't claiming 2005.

how can it be 47 years, when on club stopped after 17 years

Simple maths your joint venture comprises of

Illawara, 17 attemps at a premiership
St George 30 attempts since there last premiership

Thats 47 years of failure Gaba.

They are both joint ventures, there are no differences, and completely different clubs to predecessors.
No other records continue from before, and none will if a premiership is won. Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra Dragons are their own clubs.
