Not sure that works... i dont see Hopgood coming off the back fence with kick-off returns to be honest.
That particular carry is a small part of a forward’s game. As for carries through the middle, look at Gutherson’s work on tackle four. As much of a hog as he is, his play the balls are usually pretty quick. Dylan Edwards and a bunch of the game’s wingers make these same runs. Hopgood is also dangerous running at bigger, slower opponents.

Merkins expecting big roster changes for 2025 are off their heads. The roster we have will need to perform better. It’s as simple as that. Fewer injuries, better form from our senior players and the addition of Lomax is what we are pinning our hopes on.

Agree. 2026 is when we see changes.
At best Guymer and Brazel may provide something along with AMS and R.Pensini

Guth Officially sits beside Pricey as the toughest player to ever play for the club….he is unf**kenbelievable
Agreed. He cops shit here on game days when we lose by short sighted hot heads. The truth is that he’s one of the greatest Eels players ever, and as you say, only Ray Price can rival him with tenacity and toughness.

Hindy definitely has the bronze medal but I seriously can’t seperate Guth and Pricey….

hot take, if that was Guth in 05 who did his knee instead of Hindy against the Broncs he plays on….
