Look over your shoulders in Flegg

I watched them roll over the Dogs on the weekend, quiet a polished performance. Down at the break, concentrated their attack down the right hand side and through the middle of the park in the 2nd half. A real good kicking game which was helped by some poor football from the Dogs left winger and fullback.

Should do well good luck, although I think Parra v Illawarra GF

The Lizards are definitely the deserved favourites, but the I don't think the Eels are looking as good as they could be. Stuff all between 2 and 7. Should be an interesting comp. Certainly better than last year's buy-a-comp.

I noticed that the Magpies have taken their under-20s players out of Premier League and are playing them in Flegg now. I think that gives them a big advantage over most clubs who have their best under-20 players in Premier League.

Yep, we'll make sure we qualify everyone bar perhaps Collis of the U/20's brigade for the finals. Roberts is back there as is McDonnell this week. With our side at full strength we'll give it a serious shake. Nothing to play for in Premiers, even pride is a forlorn hope.

I'd like to see Newcastle drop Jarrod Mullen back to Flegg when he returns from his duties as Captain of the Aus schoolboys.
The combination of Walsh and Mullen in the halves went a long way to winning the Knights the SG Ball title last year, and both those guys are twice the players they were last year.
The other big factor for the Knights in Ball last year was big Kade Snowden in the forwards. He is currently out with a broken leg - but was carving up in PL and had a few good games of firstgrade before that. He is due back in a few weeks and the 114 kg second rower who can play for a full game in Flegg and is unstoppable in that grade would certainly put some punch into the Knights pack.

Wests r currently running 7th, 3 points behind 6th, so they hav some ground to make up in the coming weeks. I think the Dragons r absolute certainties for the minor premiership and it will take one hell of a performance for any team to beat them in the race for the title come semi-final time. However, the Knights are starting to come good, I'm thinking that 56-6 shellacking by the Sharks 3 weeks ago was a blessing in disguise, we have been playing much better since then. A top four birth isnt out of our reach.
