You make excuses for his poor form.

Whose poor form?

You mean the coach? A coach's form isn't judged over one season you twit.

Whether he wins the comp in his first season or runs last it's got little to do with the coach. That's why Hagan and Stuart struggle to get jobs at club level despite winning premierships in their first year in charge.

It had f**k all to do with them.

But but but they just want the club to do well!!!

They just don't want that to happen until Kearney, Ossie and the board are gone.
Really? Please name one forummer that has posted that view...

I've seen a few post their opinion that they fear it won't happen under Kearney, and/or Ossie and Board.... but that's very different to not wanting it to.

Personally i have my doubts about Kearney being the type of guy that can coach a club to a premiership in his current contract, and think Ossie and the Board aren't immune to having failings (but they and their distant predecessors were largely irrelevant week to week on our results).

But I can't understand why you'd want to misrepresent the opinions of forummers who don't happen to agree with you, rather than just state your (equally valid) differeing opinion and let discussion continue?

Let's say we come last.

Either Kearney is sacked. Or the bloke who fails to sack him is gone.

The buck has to stop somewhere.

But what if the majority don't agree with what you want, are you prepared to accept the majority decision?

So you reckon everybody wishes Kearney, Ossie and the board the best of success?

I've seen a few post their opinion that they fear it won't happen under Kearney, and/or Ossie and Board.... but that's very different to not wanting it to.

Why would they fear it without proof? None of them have been in their jobs long enough to write them off.

I'll start judging Kearney this time next year, but Osborne needs 5+ years in his job to show what he can do. As for the board I don't really care - one board is as good as another and all their decisions are made by committee anyway.

Personally i have my doubts about Kearney being the type of guy that can coach a club to a premiership in his current contract

How would you know what he's capable of? He had a great record as a club leader and he served a pretty lengthy apprenticeship at a very professional club. His resume's as good as any rookie coach, and it's unblighted by failure at club level, unlike so many ex-first grade coaches.

and think Ossie and the Board aren't immune to having failings (but they and their distant predecessors were largely irrelevant week to week on our results).

Yeah maybe. I just think it's too soon to tell.

But I can't understand why you'd want to misrepresent the opinions of forummers who don't happen to agree with you, rather than just state your (equally valid) differeing opinion and let discussion continue?

Just hate whingers mate. With a passion.

Most of all I hate people who always have to find a scapegoat and point the finger. And I'll keep giving them hell, thankyou very much.

There is nothing wrong with accountability.

The lack of accountability causes problems.

The majority only has a say at elections. That is when members will hold people accountable.

What are you on about?

Hagan and Stuart won premierships in their first season, but still aren't considered good enough to coach first grade. It's pretty self-explanatory.

So based on their massive success, you justify Sk's massive failure?

Is that your point?
