Sorry isn't always dramatic as "a public apology". If sorry is such an issue, just skip that word, but I'm suggesting that acknowledging the issue a member has raised with some respect would be the way I'd try and do things.

You really can't see any viewpoint bar your own, can you? It was none of your business. If mickdo had gone through the correct channels in the first place, once his post was deleted, there wouldn't be an issue at all.
El D is well within his rights to delete a post with an image of a transexual, and the reason he gave was fine. We (moderators and admin) had no idea the image would change when it was hotlinking, and therefore it was perfectly acceptable to assume that was the image mickdo intended to post.
As El D said, no response was recieved to the infraction (the proper channel), instead being continued on an open forum, which is definitely the wrong place for it. Had mickdo responded with a "what's wrong with this post", likely would have received a reply saying that it was an image of a transexual. Suggesting the onus should be on the moderators to double/triple check every deleted post is just silly.
Last time the image was posted, I deleted it and banned the poster. I make no apologies for that.

Other than that you're an easy bit of sport on here for myself or Suity if we're bored? ;-) If you weren't so precious, as a moderator you should move all the relevant posts out of this Tahu thread and into a thread in The Fight Club forum... but I bet you won't, and will instead continue hijacking it.

It has nothing to do with being precious. You are in the wrong. You jumped in with an opinion when it had nothing to do with you, and directly breaches the members guidelines.
El D was well within his rights to moderate as he did, and you are absolutely nobody to question that. If you have an issue, email the administrators. That goes for Suity as well. Further complaining on this issue in here will just be deleted.
Proper channels, or don't complain. We've discussed this before.
