so what if he bagged ando after he was sacked? would some of you have preferred he did it beforehand? obviously something was stewing there across several players, i'm glad the truth got told.

I would have preferred he didnt say anything. And for the record i wanted ando gone but kicking a bloke when he is down like Tahu did is a dog act.

Timana has your footprint in the middle of his back.

Just saying.

Well, that depends how you read it. ME is a funny man. Perhaps he too was calling you the said dog after you laid the boot in?

If Karma is such a bitch, I hope you don't complain when someone kicks you when you are down.

Just saying.

I wont. And i certainly wouldn't be going to the Daily Telegraph to complain

Just saying

I'd rather he keep his opinions to himself, as a human being and a professional sportsman. There are better ways to voice your own opinions on someone without the media latching onto you.

You might dislike Ando and you might not hate Tahu, but you can't deny there were a lot of things he would have/could have/should have done differently.

I personally dislike Tahu but taking my hate aside I'll try and acknowledge that there are lots of issues surrounding both him and the club, but there were better ways he could have handled each and every situation than the way he did this year.

The thought he was part of a squad that failed miserably this year, a squad with almost all the same players and coach who got to the 2009 GF and could have won it against the cheats, might be playing on his brain a lot....

Really none if our business what the club grants him!

He was not as bad as people made out this year, he put on some great hits and showed plenty of pride in the jersey......the rest of the team was garbage too, why are people focusing solely on him????

If SK sees fit to have him in the team this year (even if he misses the entire off-season) I will trust his judgement, he is the one who lives and dies by his decisions!

Two in total and was outplayed by his opposite every week he stepped out onto the park. His form was horrible last season.

TBH, no one in our team really had a year to be proud of so its unfair to single out Tahu's performance. Considering he carried an injury, and had to go through all the Origin race crap for the 2nd half of the Season its understandable that he didn't perform as well as he was expected to. Pre-union he was amazing, and i think he can get back to that form, and i want him to be at Parra when he does.

PARRAMATTA coach Steve Kearney could not guarantee Timana Tahu's future at the Eels yesterday after admitting his star player was battling "complex issues". Kearney was also unable to set a timeframe for Tahu's return to training amid speculation the NSW State of Origin centre and Parramatta may soon split.
The Daily Telegraph yesterday revealed Tahu had asked for at least a week's leave from training, a request Kearney granted.
Eels chief executive Paul Osborne denied Tahu had gone AWOL, although some Parramatta players are unaware where Tahu has been for the past week.
He was not at training yesterday - and may not return soon.
"We are working through a few things with him," Kearney said. "He's contracted to the club but has a fair bit on his plate.
"We need to sit down and talk with him. We have to look after his welfare.

"We're concerned and want to make sure he is in good health and looks after himself.
"We will do what we have to do. Hopefully we can resolve T's issues. The issues are pretty complex."
Asked would Tahu definitely return to training, Kearney said: "We haven't gone that far. I'm not going to comment on that."
Asked when Tahu might be back training, Kearney said: "I don't have a timeframe."
Tahu missed Monday's training session after his car broke down. He has not been seen at Eels training since.
Asked if Tahu was a lost soul, Kearney said: "I don't think so."
Kearney refused to elaborate on Tahu's "issues", but Tahu is spending time with his family.
Eels veteran Nathan Hindmarsh said yesterday: "From what we've heard he has a few things he needs to sort out.
"He was back last week [at training] but some things have come up. He's got to sort those out before he gets back to training again.
"We're hopeful he will be back. We haven't heard any different. He has missed a few days this week to sort some stuff out but he trained hard last week.
"It's hard to get hold of Timana at the best of times but we haven't spoken."
Asked what Kearney's message was for next season, Hindmarsh said: "If you want to be here, fine, but if you want to hang around you can piss off now, pretty much.
"It's about working hard for these eight weeks leading into Christmas. If you're not up to it, you might as well go now."
Tahu had a controversial season and continues to battle personal demons. He was involved in two ugly racial vilification dramas: one concerning Andrew Johns and the other a 16-year-old at an Aboriginal league carnival in Woy Woy.
Kearney did not know if Tahu had signed a new one-year deal with Parramatta.

Doesn't sound ideal from the likes of it. Maybe it's best he take a year off league to clear his head rather than turn up half arsed.

Also I find it odd our coach doesn't know if a certain player has re-signed or not...

The signings of all of those backs is now starting to look like a smart decision.........

Seriously, if Tahu has issues to deal with, let him go and sort them out. If these problems are going to continue all year, he shouldn't play.

Ha ha yeah I missed the bit where he said he doesn't know if Tahu had signed.

Would it be unusual for a coach to not know which players have contracts in their team?
