So would Craig Bellamy. The Storm and Mal Meninga adopts some of the ways of the All Blacks.I'd rather watch the ABs than the Warriors. Can't believe I just said that.
I'd say egos get in the way a bit for NZRL and Warriors to do the same?So would Craig Bellamy. The Storm and Mal Meninga adopts some of the ways of the All Blacks.
Well they did take on Graham Henry but that was last year. The Storm was in contact with the All Blacks years ago. Egos probably did get in the way but now they're desperate.I'd say egos get in the way a bit for NZRL and Warriors to do the same?
We yes to have John Hart on staff and he's ABs to the core.
I made a graph to see just how low we've sunk. The dark blue line tracks wins & losses (+1 for a win, -1 for a loss) and the orange line is our for-and-against.
Long story short = yes this is comfortably the lowest we've ever been.View attachment 14848
You would have to throw in a mid season review! That's the best summation of the Warrior's history I have seen.
Monie did real good.
Anderson was great; lifted to standard. And he didn't just buy stars.
Cleary really just maintained a flat line.
Since then it's been a steady decline.
How about updating it at seasons end, not long I know, and then at the end of each season?
Doesn't have to be the root around ABs culture, Crusaders seem to keep showing up, someone from their past available? He did get sacked from the ABs though, and it was ugly. So he might've had a bit of FU towards union for a while.
Too easy - I already keep it updated after each match anyway : )How about updating it at seasons end, not long I know, and then at the end of each season?

To be fair to Ivan his tenure would be a modest but steady improvement if you took 2009 off the graph, and we know that year's failure was something of an anomaly due to Sonny Fai's death.
Meh both did a great jobIf we're comparing Anderson to Cleary surely the former had the stronger squad?
