Don't you mean 'Speaking of Lowes'
Ba dum ching.

Feel for the club a wee bit to be honest, yes we are a rabble but we know we are a rabble. Seems like everyones putting the foot in (deservedly so from the fants). The club may be a rabble, but at the end of the day, they are our rabble,

As long as they are around, I won't support anyone else.

Not strictly true that we 'know we are a rabble'. The fans do. I'd suggest management and coaching staff would say otherwise. In fact Jim said so 3 weeks ago - that we lose better nowadays. Then we got belted by 13+ three weeks in a row.

And I wish the media would stop going to Graham Lowe. Give him his dues, he achieved a lot in the game. But he is yesterday's man. In fact he is beyond that. The media go to these guys who have had their day a long while ago, just for the cheap headline. No danger of any proper insight and vision. Same as Benny f**king Elias on 360, Tommy Raudonikis etc. Real typical of the media rubbish. I'd rather read a well-written column by someone who knows the modern-day environment. Trouble is we never get any of that. Doesn't sell, I guess.

If Mannering ans SJ went to the Storm id do exactly what i do when other former warriors play against us. Smash their f**king heads off. Anyone in an opposition jersey should get bashed.

Having said that i think SJs latest contract with us will be his last. So it could be a reality

ABC Grandstand RL (Elliott and co) were having a laugh about the potential 'crowd' for tomorrow's fixture, Souths v Warriors. The panel had to pretend they were 'marketing agents' or something and what pitch they'd use to get people along. All pretty flat really, the panel got put on the spot and couldn't think up anything too good.

I was going to SMS in with this one: Go tomorrow night, hide out in the stadium overnight, and get to see the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday!

Don't know if a ticket to the Bloodyslow Cup would be a reward or punishment !

Has Elliott's silence due to payout ended it's tenure?

He seems to be having a wee bit of a crack lately - fair enough too - although he's part of the problem in terms of a series of hopeless coaches, but like the others he just applied, he wasn't the collective group of geniuss making the decisions

I have no choice, mate. My brother buys the tix and then asks whether I'd like to go.

It's always bittersweet at the stadium. It's an event, my brother only supports winners, but my mind is on the Warriors, particularly that feeling of rocking up to a GF.

The stadium's only three quarters full for Bledisloe tests now too (at most), which is great for sneaking into the more expensive seats. Rugby won't be picking up here in NSW anytime soon. If I was honest with my brother I would've told him that I'd rather go to tonight's game, and would have if he'd asked me properly about tomorrow.

I loved union as a kid though, I won't pretend I didn't. But that's light-years ago, the '70s to mid-'80s.

The irony of the so called experts who seem to be regular pundits of the Warriors are generally blokes who have been there and failed miserably (Lowe, Elliott etc at the moment). They never acknowledge their own incompetence and the media wash over it to continue to get their verbiage.

As I understand it, the players were mentally drained under Elliott, he invested in equipment which I now understand is basically collecting dust, he saw about the end of John Acklands association with the club, he anointed Carlos Tuimavave as the next Laurie Daley and then barely played him, and was quite happy to see SST on his way.

The blokes though that IMO have the most to answer for are Wayne Scurrah and Eric Watson. The brain dead calls (and from what I'm now hearing, these calls were based on budgetary restrictions) on not retaining Ivan Cleary and going for Brian McClennan, and then following up that debacle by appointing Elliott when all signs had pointed out Bellamy as the successor were just dumb dumb decisions.

What pisses me off, is that despite the fact that we have been crap for 6 years, we have a bloody good squad on paper. Thats the inexcuseable part for me.Thats something rotten from the inside that makes good players, play poorly. RTS, Luke, Hoffman, Foran etc, big signings that have all played worse since coming here in comparison to their old clubs.

I'm much rather have a bunch of ploders trying their guts out and sucking, than a bunch of internationals not trying so hard and sucking.

SST had to go... total D'bag. But the rest is true. Elliot just wasn't very good.

Add Owen glen to that list too. All the talk about being the "biggest sporting franchise in australasia" was just lip service.

I'd rather watch the ABs than the Warriors. Can't believe I just said that.

Whilst somewhat dispassionate I do admire their skills, the bullet-like passing always gets me, right at chest height.

I only watch one game a year though, this one, in Sydney. I wouldn't be far off too many Australians in that regard.

Last night I slipped in a DVD from the op shop (two bucks) called 'Bledisloe Cup - the rise and rise of Australian rugby'. They were absolutely brilliant in the backs in that era from 78-86. Wright, Moon, Campese, Hawker, O'Connor, both Ellas, Gould, Lynagh, Grigg, et al, and the crowds!

It's not good for rugby to see the state of the game in this country today.

I've always liked Union and the Crusaders and the All Blacks are much easier to support.

My enthusiasm for the Warriors has never been lower than it is right now and I have supported since 1995
