We have a realistic chance of winning the league. Much more realistic than winning the UCL. Personally I think we should put all resources into winning the League. We win it and then all of a sudden with the glamour and status of being English champions we'll find it much easier to recruit the necessary squad depth and quality to genuinely compete for the UCL as well.

Bullshit scheduling and bullshit refereeing cost us. Oh well now we have 9 days of rest. We'll be in the best possible position to roll Chelsea

It's not happening. We don't beat big teams, especially Mourinho coached ones.

We'll be third by jan and I fancy us to stay there till May.

We're never going to win anything with Giroud up front, until we've got a decent striker we won't be getting close. City have three betters ones ffs.

You can win the league without beating any of the big teams. And Mourinho isn't magic. He just lost to Stoke.

The scoreline against City was highly misleading.robbed of at least 2 goals and possibly 3 and they were given a very generous penalty. And that was in the most impenetrable fortress in the league on 2 days rest.

Chelsea on 9 days rest will be much easier. Arsenal fans are way too pessimistic. Ffs the average Liverpool fan is more confident of winning the league than the average Arsenal fan. We are still coming 1st. If we beat Chelsea everyone will forget about last night.

That's it though isn't it. They were there for the taking and we folded. Every time we got close to them we gifted them a goal. We just don't know what we're doing against big teams.

I'm not pessimistic, i'm realistic. We've been living off Ramsey playing in god mode the whole season. He's not going to score every second week like he has been doing. Eventually that genius of a striker we have is going to have to step up. Speaking of Giroud...

Any other striker in the league is in that position and it's a tap in for Theo.

And Liverpool fans are only confident because they're delusional. The ones on here aren't too bad but RAWK is probably the worst forum on the internet.

The scoreline against City was highly misleading.

Yeah you're right. It flattered you. City could have scored more and probably should have. We were by far the better team but to their credit, Arsenal took advantage of a few defensive lapses.

But let's be serious, if you had scored 10 goals, we would have scored 11.

Tbf I don't think he meant we should have won. Just we didn't deserve to lose by 3.

We had two goals disallowed and a couple more promising attacks because the lino's forgot the offside rule, a penalty turned down that's given every other week and another iffy foul called on Sagna in the lead up to your 4th.

You were, and are, definitely the better side but to lose by 3 was a bit unfair i thought.

And if you think we took advantage of a few defensive lapses you definitely weren't watching your goals, tis' the festive season and we gift wrapped 6 of them for you on Saturday.

You expect 1, maybe 2 to go against you in each game, but 4 is bullshit. Plus the non handball call and the Nasri "foul" in the lead up to their 4th was just more shit that didn't go our way.

When Ben Arfa came on i thought he would score to level things up. He was looking very dangerous with those runs down the right.

He'd be a good player if he wasn't thick as sh!t.

He's quick, got an awesome shot and is good on the ball too. Too bad he makes the wrong decision 90% of the time and puts absolutely no effort in defensively.

Phew. Thank f**k for Bendtner. Thought Wilshere had a good game too which was nice to see.

We won't be winning anything this season if we don't buy a striker in the Jan window.

Podolski's involvement there is terrible, Giroud can't finish for shit, Theo can't be trusted to lead the line and Bendtner is Bendtner.

Ox shouldn't be too far from returning, plus with Walcotts form and Podolski getting more game time we have genuine options out wide.

Giroud's has the ability of holding the ball pretty well, but the missing piece of the puzzle is 1 more striker just to complement Giroud. We won't get a world class striker in January.

Despite being an ex Yanited and Spurs player I did use to enjoy watching him play.

Don't think he'd be enough in his current state to keep us at the top though. In saying that, if it was between signing Berbatov and signing nobody i'd go with Berbatov.

While we're looking at spending 2 mill on Berbatov, CSKA Fulham have reportedly had a 50m bid for Higuain rejected. I still laugh when I remember the argument I had on here with a Chelski fan about the amount of money they spend.

Good game.

Got to rest some players and give some of the reserves a run out. Wish Ozil and Mertesacker didn't have to come on but what can you do when injuries strike.

Rosicky man of the match easily, he was everywhere. Koscielny somehow man marked both of their strikers out of the game, although when one of them is as bad as Soldado it sounds better than it really is.

Was good to see Gnabry again, he's so mature for an 18 year old and seems to have so much to his game. Good on the ball, decent passer, tracks back well. Can't wait till he's got a bit more confidence and can express himself offensively.

Speaking of Slowdado, my god he really is a different kind of useless. He's like a slower, older and less clinical Chicharito. It's ridiculous that they're effectively playing with 10 just incase they get a penalty.
