I'm merely pointing out that the trip to Etihad has proven to be a far more difficult assignment than the trip to Anfield this season

You can't say Etihad has been more difficult than Anfield, when you haven't even visited Anfield yet :lol: We have belted Arsenal, Everton, and a host of many other lower table teams at Anfield. I know that won't happen to Chelsea, but just saying.

If Liverpool are still in great form by the time this match rolls around, Anfield could be more difficult, as I think you've ignored the following factors. It's the big finale end to the season, everyone is excited and pumped, the players will be raring to go, and the home crowd will be absolutely deafening. You won well deservedly against City, but they were having a bit of an off day with their shot accuracy relative to what they were achieving beforehand. The Anfield game will basically have quite a lot more meaning and emotion than the Etihad match.

Yes laugh at a man who has kept his club in the CL spots for every year of his reign, with building a new Stadium and working a shoe string budget, a crippling injury toll has ruined the our title charge, No Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil and Wilshere.

In the end if we get 4th, we will have funds to make over the squad and rid the deadwood off contract this season. Next Year will be the year we can challenge once again.

That was the same story last year. It was about making 4th and then we'd be able to buy. We bought 1 player when we needed a lot more.

We don't just need just starters, we need depth. We need a striker a left wing and a DM, but we also need depth to handle 4 competitions. We haven't had that in years.

Wenger wanted to wait until after the world cup to buy.

With Bendtner,Park,Djourou,Diaby,Sagna,Fabianski and a few Reserve deadwood gone we will have money to spend.

Re: depth, it's funny how at the start of the season, people were ruling out liverpool because 'we have no depth', despite the fact we aren't in europe. Now their excuse (and albeit a more credible one) is we have relatively weak defence.

The defence is weak, its just ATM Liverpool are out scoring teams for fun, Chelsea and Man city wont be a easy task though to play it that way.

It's all down to our defensive systems at the moment. It's not the players, just the structure :? We haven't been helped by constant chopping and changing of the defensive line though

Well a Good win this morning, with players coming back we should win another 4th place title.

Looking onto next Season i think Arsenal needs to go all out and splurge at getting a nice Squad and Depth Together.
