Arsenal are too reliant on Fabergas, similar to us relying on Ronaldo a couple of years ago. The difference is Ronaldo was rarely injured, Fabergas seems quite injury prone. You've got plenty of talented players, but they don't seem to be able to get it together properly when Cesc isn't there (or when he's a passenger like he is at the moment).

I must reserve a word of praise for Arshavin: I have been impressed every single time I've seen him play. Doesn't seem to know how to give less than 100%. And pretty bloody talented with it.

You are easily impressed then.

Wilshire got a few hacks (freekicks stat alert: United 9 Arsenal 17) in but was generally stood around not doing a lot. Didn't create, didn't defend. A waste of time. But he is young and if he can develop then maybe he will do well in the future.

Nasri not only stood around watching the pen, he stood around watching Rosicky do all the running, him and Arshavin must of had a right laugh at the guy.

Good to see the genius of Wenger though, they way he brought on two subs to play in the exactly the same position and game plan when it really wasn't working.

He needs to spend on a bit of quality, but he won't. He knows if he does he will have to deliver, and he just isn't capable anymore.

More so impressed by his attitude and not being intimidated by that hack Fletcher.

What pains me is the gameplan : cross the ball from the flanks and hope that a lone striker or one of the 5'7 midfielders will somehow outjump and out muscle two of the biggest CB's in Europe. Huge facepalm.

I commend Wenger in playing Rosicky over Denilson though, which gave a bit more attack to the centre of the pitch...In theory anyway.

We need quality at the back end : Groundhog day over and over again. A decent CB and a GK. Hopefully there's something brewing in January.

Your performance against us had nothing to do with your CB or GK. In fact you GK kept the score down with some great saves.

Your performance was because Wenger wants to play pretty football in front of the defence. You never turned our CB's once. Your centre forward had some good touches but they all were to deep. Rosicky ran round a lot, whilst Nasri and Arshavin didn't look interested at all. No direction or anything.

You can call Fletcher a hack all you want, the number of fouls speak for themselves. Obviously if Fletcher had been sent of for a wild double footed lunge this season you may have a point. But that was someone else... :sarcasm:

As said, easily impressed.

My 'wishlist' per se was more so a general comment regarding the 2010/2011 squad. Obviously, I think if Fabregas had have started things would have been different. In terms of the Man U game, I thought Koscielny/Squillaci did well and Wojeh was the clearl Arsenal MOTM.

Fletcher is a hack in regards to his overall ability, nothing to do with his playing style. I was pleased with the foul count, it showed that the squad (for once) wasn't going to be intimidated. Such aggression is a welcome attribute after watching the team time and time again be kicked off the pitch by the likes of Stoke, (pre-Coyle) Bolton and co.

My initial post stated that I was impressed with Szczcesny and Wilshere. Szczesny excelled in goal, and when you take into account his age and the fact it was his league debut, he was outstanding. Wilshere's enthusiasm was the most impressive aspect of his game. For a lad his age to be starting at Old Trafford, he could have easily been overawed by the experience and become less involved with the game.

"Easily impressed"? I prefer to look at the positives. In reality a 1-0 away loss against the only unbeaten team this season, without their best player/captain and the leader of the defence (Vermaelen) isn't all that hard to deal with.

I'm more concerned with Stoke on Saturday than harping about Wenger or the sides deficiencies on Monday night.

Once again..

Gotta be rigged...

It's their own fault though, had we finished first we'd be playing Roma.

that performance was clinical, arguebly the hottest young team in the world at the moment..we just need some consistancy.

Dominated the game against City but just couldn't hit the back of the net. Is it just me or does Fabregas look a tad out of it atm?

Sums up the past three/four seasons.

He looks livelier than in previous games tbh. Remember, he was/is coming off a hamstring injury.

It'll be interesting to see who Arsene plays against Leeds and Ipswich.

Happy with that. Never going to win without Silva, Kolarov and Balotelli.

Arsenal were just couldn't get inside the box.

Zab did a great job on Walcott. Sanga is a douche.

Kolo Toure and Vinnie Kompany best centre backs in the PL.

Arshavin no good. Needs more Chamakh.

FMD.

Bendtner > Anywhere but here.

Incapable, uncoordinated, terrible..There aren't enough adjectives to accurately describe his abilities (or lack thereof).

Ironic someone saying that with an Arshavin picture in his posts.

Arshavin was and has been the laziest player in the squad, if not the league over the past few months.

This does not make him uncoordinated, terrible or incapable. Andrey has proven his ability many, many times. Something which Nicklas is yet to do.

So your unhappy with the guy who at least tries for the club but are fine with the guy who stands there not giving a sh*t.

ok, i'll put that down to being the Arsenal way and let you get on with it then.

when bendy scores 4 against liverhole, he can then stand around and not give a sh*t
