Have to feel sorry for Arsenal, there have been quite a few games where they have had big leads early and let it slip, i.e. against Newcastle and against Spurs.

Or....you can just sit there, point and

Could be worse, could be a Spurs fan :D

Seriously though, cant do much more than laugh. Wolves did Arsenal a favour though so not the "worst" result possible from the weekend.

Football's bizzare.

Despite the weekends result (I wont even go there, except to say Joey Barton is still a f*cking thug, and Nolan isn't far behind) Arsenal are now only two points behind United.

Bigger picture guys ;)

I just hope that the Spuds and Newcastle games wont be the difference between first and second.

The bigger picture :

United still have to play Chelsea twice, Liverpool at Anfield, Arsenal at Emirates and Citeh this weekend. By comparison, Arsenal have United and Liverpool at Emirates and away to Spurs.

Even with a four point difference, the remaining fixtures are kind to us and should see us at least close the gap further.

I rate you guys against Liverpool out of the three teams you mentioned and that is it. Unless ManUnited have a huge screw-up and fall from grace, you'll be lucky to beat them and despite being in bad form I would be worried if I was an Arsenal fan at the Lane. Your form against Spurs recently isn't all that good, especially at the Lane.

As you said though, you guys have it a lot easier than ManU do. Regardless, for you guys to win the title this year ManU would have to have a monumental fall from grace.

ManU definitely dont have to have a "monumnetal fall from grace" for Arsenal to win the title. As shown they have a lot of tough fixtures coming up, add that to their considerably poor away form this season. 4 points at this stage is hardly anything.

Foster had a great game, but the gunners played look like a team with all there focus on the return leg with Barca and deserved to lose playing like that

ouch

were you guys at, or near full strength ?

Missing Fabregas, Theo and of course Vermaelen.

Frustrating, considering we've beaten Birmingham both home and away already this season, the multitude of chances and the terrific performance from Foster. Not to mention the two players involve in the "mix-up" have been two of our most consistent over the past few months - Koscielny was brilliant against Barca.

Full credit to Birmingham, in all reality they've probably been better in this competition than Arsenal anyway.

When I heard that Obafemi would be on loan to Birmingham I was instantly fearful. This guy ALWAYS plays well against Arsenal.

The cliche of "you have to lose a cup before winning one" doesn't really apply, as we have already lost a CC final to Chelsea in 2007, but hopefully this is soon to be seen as opportunity to take chances as they present themselves.

Looking forward to the FA Cup replay on Thursday and Sunderland on the weekend.
