That's important to me as well. I'm over seas from Feb 16 to March 3. So ihope the draft doesn't take place in that time.

So given that you're gonna be away the whole time it's happening, are you gonna be able to play?

No not unless you can hold the draft up until after March 4. That still gives us two weeks but i understand if you want to get it moving earlier. I might have to try and set up a late comp with some others it gets done before i'm back.

Round 1 actually starts on the 12th so it only gives us one week. And I'm going down to Melbourne from the 5th-7th of March for a friend's 21st so I don't think I would be able to do it then sorry...

Oh bugger. I was hoping we could do the draft starting the 3rd of March. I remember last year it took sometime but we were virgins. This year we would be more prepared for it.

Let me know either way. I have an Iphone but believe roaming rates will send me broke. I maybe able to log on to the net from our hotel though.

If push comes to shove though i'll have to miss out if the dates don't line up.

G'day everyone! NRLCEO registration will begin very soon. We anticipate Tuesday but maybe as early as Monday. In this time, you can register your username (email address) and password. Even if you played last year you must create a new account. i will put the link on this thread.

Once you have validated your email account, you can then log in and peruse the player list. You will then have to wait until the site fully unlocks for competition creation and recruitment.

Once initial registration is complete, I will let you know when the site is likely to fully unlock so you can create your LU comps....

You create a new account using your email address as your username. Successful registration gives you entry into the new site and the ability to do only a few things initially. 1. Change your password 2. Look at the player list. 3. Peruse the How to Play and FAQ Sections.

NOTE: NRLCEO is not open yet and the site address WILL NOT be nrlceo.com - yet....

Once a period of time has passed and we are ready for competition creation, you will be able to create a competition which will then give you a competition password for you to give to invited guests - that is for private comps.

You will be able to have multiple teams under the same username and password - unlike last year.

For public comps, you will simply need to click on a public comp once the registration period ends.

And Franko I really am keen to get as many of the original gang back but I'm not sure that gives us enough time. I would love to give you every chance to play but this could jeapordise the competition if we're cutting it that fine, especially since I'm away for the first three days of the only week we'd have. As we found out last year, unforeseen events can prevent people from being able to make their draft picks and drag this thing out much longer than it should go. Can someone else here please weigh in with whether or not 4 days is enough time because at the moment I just feel like I'm coming across the villain when I want is for the competition to run smoothly...

Are we gonna have to get a roster of when people are going away or something. Anyone else?

Well I have to say it normally takes around a week or so to get a draft done, I'm available till the season starts if a spot opens up.

Last year one draft I was in was a disaster cause people weren't there and we lost a couple of player who got feed up.

I agree, if it is cutting it too fine it may be best to replace Franko (the last resort IMO). If we know exactly the dates when the draft will be on, I am sure we can work something out. Time could also be an issue as could be working 7am-3pm (which is really 5am-7pm for me) that I'll be away from the computer.

I am working nights soon (this fri to sun) then a few days off. If Mig can let us know when the sie is up, (the sooner the better) we can organise what to do.
