Bondi Beasts

Very happy to get away with the win last week, the Beasts have been left licking their wounds after more new injury, further injury return setbacks, and the dropping of Luke MacDougall from the Storm side in the wake of the salary cap scandal, with Bellamy looking to the future and bringing through some promising juniors.

Lance Hohaia is forced into the hooker role following Andrew McCullough's potentially long-term injury on Friday night, which brings the side's last remaining back, Trent Hodkinson, onto the bench for his debut. With Matt Bowen and Joel Monaghan both due back in Round 10 the Beasts will just have to hang tough in the meantime and take it to the 4th-placed Roosters and 2nd-placed Rhinos with what they've got. Their coach expects results regardless of which of his troops runs onto the field, and the players will all dig in for the cause.

waiting on some news to come through tommorow before the rhino's pick their side. Could be some big changes in the mix. On a plus side the raiders have managed to announce fensom being out earlier then 2 minutes before kickoff which was nice of them

Yeah the raiders released it at about yesterday lunchtime. Good actually able to prepare for an injury and replacing him instead of finding out about it in the pre match show. Ben smith has racked up consecutive wh tries the last fortnight while he has been out of the squad so i'll bring him in so he can do bugger all this weekend.

Bulls continue to be decimated by injuries with star front rower Aiden Tolman & winger Antonio Winterstein joining a host of stars on the casualty list. Rookie winger Matt Duffie replaces Winterstein after his sensational debut while Dan Hunt has moved into the starting side to cover the loss of Tolman with Joel Thompson called up to the bench.
