Just a failed joke Alice.
Na I was referring to Brooks short kicks...they always go dead in goal however I've been watching a lot of Jarome's kicks for Samoa and some at Penrith and he can kick.
You do raise a good point with long kicks deep from our end...can he do that?
Mate as far as his age and injuries go. His age is not relevant imo. 35 is. Injuries...well I've heard several times that the guy is superfit and heals well, I think I heard that again when he was trying to get fit for this years gf.
Lastly we dont have a game winning ½/⅝.
The club had to try something after collecting 2 spoons.

If you were going down that path.

Signing Sullivan and Fainu is another waste of cap

It understandable for Luai to miss a day given the circumstances. I thinks its nothing, hard to imagine he wants out early, im sure he wants to finish strong his last year.

How many of us can sign for a rival 10 months out?

the whole RL system is a joke

Well its hard to compare with normal working circumstances. Most of us could quite anytime and start a new job within days or weeks if we got a better offer.

The only thing I can think of is in tv when someone is 'warehoused'

Still though, Luai had to expect to get some blow back

"luxury of hindsight" lamback.
If the Tigers new they were going to sign Luai I doubt they would have signed Fainu.
Look the problem with the Wests Tigers for years was their inability to convert good field position into points and Brooks, whilst a very good footballer, could not deliver.
The club had to do something as sitting on their hands was not going to solve anything.
Now with the prospect of having a marquee ½/⅝ in Luai and depth with the others I see it as a moveing forward.
Is it ideal, no. BUT necessary.

Ivan shit talked a player chasing a new deal in public.

A player with a year to go under his management.

f**king terrible leadership.

I'd wager if anyone here had their boss do the same they'd be pretty pissed off

That was silly by Ivan, but I believe he was going before those comments. He signed with Black money a few weeks before those comments. Most knew what his intentions were.

would you? Not so sure Moses is a parasite and loves Scott Fulton. Many others will come

What is Bula's extension $700k?
Api the same
Fainu was on $400k. I doubt he came over for any less
Sullivan the same
Now Luai $1.2m

that is roughly 40% of the cap there. So you may have halves but will lose players that got that field position.

that is why I laugh at that story about 2025 premiership betting, squad will be way different

Players say they can't sort out schools and stuff, Yet when Capewell had to. He was able to do it in months

A convenient excuse. Luai’s deal was done in a couple of months after signing with BM.
Prior to that was wasting time.

And you believe that? I'm not privy to players contract amounts especially TPA, I don't think the journos know either. A lot of it's made up to fill the matrix up. Zero tackle often screws it up.
Your right about Bud not wanting less but he did get four years which was not matched by saints, i think the length of contract helped secure him.
If he turns out a gem which a lot of people are tipping then it will be a shrewd signing.
Anyway ol mate, there's not much water in the well and the tigers are obligated to do something.
Rich is promoting pathways just like when panthers were rock bottom and clawed there way up.
The head office has changed so hopefully the whole joint improves.

You also had to compete with Gus for Bud.

We had a FT squad of nuffies and plodders. It kept space to re-sign the kids as they came in needed a pay rise.

Dogs aren't improving for this reason and lets see how you guys go. Keeping the young guys
