Lui out, Florimo in?

I've seen a bit of Jay Florimo and think he'd go OK filling in at half.
I don't think he's first grade material to be honest but think he could fill in and play a distributor role, got very good defence, a decent kicking game. He won't win us a game but he wouldn't be a weakness either.

Lazarus was way, way off an acceptable standard when tried. Looked embarrasingly out of his depth. I think Florimo would give a flair-free workman-like performance.

Yeah, I'm not going to argue the fact that to call his offensive skills limited would be a compliment, but I just want to see a distributor in there and not chopping and changing of Farah and Marshall into the number 7 or Fitz into 7 or Lazarus in 7. Nice if Taumata was here. Nichols is the only other option.

Of what I have seen of Nicolls I have liked. Old fashion style half, not fast but is hard as nails and got a football brain. Although I would still go for lazarus, Sheens really did not give him a go last time. If needed pick him at seven and let him play seven and dont move him around every play

As for Florimo, if he was half as good as he thought he was he might be okay but Iam afraid he isnt. Thinks he has to play the tough guy and when your his size it dosnt work. Could mature into a fair footballer but at this stage light years away

Surely Florimo or Nicholls could do exactly what Lui has been doing without too many complications. All this talk about people wanting to revisit the horrors of chopping and changing Benji and Robbie around makes me question people's memories because I recall nothing but horror stories.
