This i agree with in regards to political suicide.

Whilst you need to blood juniors and have older players move on... Burt has always been consistently good for the side and loyal and always puts in hard, unlike some of the others.

Certainly wouldn't go down well with a lot of the parra faithful.

This season and maybe next would be fine. Is he that much of an upgrade on Wright though?

He is not all that quick or elusive but safe. We already have a very good goal kicker in Carney so that point is moot in my opinion and Wright can kick goals a bit anyway.

I wouldn't be paying top dollar, he is no saviour.

Burt is a good short term solution. Better than Wright. Can't understand why not in that Parra team.

We already had him once. Went to norths then broncos, then raiders. I think. Played in the wing for us and the boncos. Clearly fullback is his go.
