He will be cheered on very much by both teams.

Yeh, the Tigers fans will be cheering that he left, whilst the normal sharks fans will cheer when he gets hurt.

 BBSF is my favorite poster......A bloody classic...He has the best sense of humour. Sure BBSF is not really HG Nelson or Roy Slavin.

Keep it up

He got sin binned due to another players mistake and Covell had to try and slow the play down.

He got the pumpkin of the week yes, because he got run down - they were not two seperate incidents, idiot.

Until he wears the #6 we will not see him playing his best football.

Wasn't he playing his best football when he was in the sin bin ?

He was sin binned a couple of weeks ago, earned pumpkin of the week the week before that

Right because the pumpkin of the week is such a exalted award:roll:

and also managed to hog the ball and get run down
Once again if you saw the replay, you would have seen he was looking for support on his inside where his centre should have been. Either way a 70m break is usually a good effort regardless of the result

because he's slower than Bert Newton in the sack.

how the hell do you know how Bert goes in the sack?

Best winger? If that's your best winger, you're f**ked.

We'll take our chances;-)

Best winger?

Hmmm...

POINTSCORING & GOALKICKING, 2006
3. Hazem El Masri -- 6 tries, 22/25 goals, 68 points
6. Amos Roberts -- 6 tries, 7/8 goals, 38 points
11. Matt Sing -- 7 tries, 0 goals, 28 points
12. Luke Covell -- 1 try, 11/16 goals, 26 points.

Oh, and the "bye" excuse won't work, El Masri's team has already had one too and he's managing to be up there with the top three.

Some more stats of note:

Not on the line-breaks list; Not on the tackle breaks list; Not on the top return metres list...

The list goes on. Covell has nothing

Look at the Sharks team over all, timmy. Hazem would be playing like a goose if put around some of the lowly players that raper has put in first grade.

uppercut yourself three times for me. goose.

Lol look at the Dogs team. They haven't been going so well themselves.

Its been 4 games ... I guess you might as well celebrate the lead before Covell makes his comeback. And if you dont think he can come back, just remember impossible isnt a word, anythings possible. From the word of Luke impossible is just a self proclaimed barrier people believe in to stop them achieving their dreams.

Lets bring out the 2005 stats.... where was Luke? 3rd Best pointscorer in the NRL?

Honestly, Covell wouldn't get a start at most other clubs.

Bout time you got some starch back BBSF.

But Campbelltown folk are different, rough in their roots, aggressive in their ways, they are known for their long memories , mullets and puerto rican accents.

LMFAO. Although I have never met a Campbelltown native with a long memory...

IIRC correctly, after 26 rounds (the official pointscoring table period) Covell finished equal 4th with Hazem, who missed the last 7-8 games through injury.

Better winger? Wipe it off and start again

It's just not his point and try scoring ability it is also his effect on other team members. They gain so much out of his inspirational line breaks and superb defence. Also the effect he has on the team, it is fair to say that Cronulla are a one man team and that one man is Luke Covell. He's the Andrew Johns of Cronulla.
