So 1 premiership in 40 odd years equals an empire? Jeez my Monday night indoor cricket team must be Roman gods.

great signing for the warriors if true. really strengthens their team. the game in NZ would explode if they could ever win a premiership and they're starting to assemble the team to do it

That's yet to be seen

But where will each be in two years when age impacts Luke's style of play? McInnes is an extremely well balanced hooker - I won't go so far to say he will be as good as Luke at his peak but I definitely think he is more talented than Peats, Api and Segs

Barring a serious injury that could happen to anyone, Luke still has a good 5 years in him before his performances start to decline. He is also an 80 minute player so unless McInness can be too it is going to affect bench rotation, which will be a bigger problem if the number of interchanges is reduced

Jim Doyle is some sort of negotiator...

Both this Luke deal and the RTS deal only came out in the public hours before the deal was announced.

I think it's becoming clear that being a part of #21 was the aim for most of our senior players. Now that they have achieved that, they will move on and chase the cash (which they have every right to). GI will probably be next.

This season is the last in our 3-4 year premiership window IMO. Time to rebuild.

well it frees up cash for Johnston and Walker. potentially.

Wow that didn't take long. From rumor to announcement in 1 day. Must be a record.
Great signing for the Warriors. It will be great for the NRL to have a really strong Warriors side.

Jim Doyle is starting to make a massive difference there, first RTS and now Luke, both signings pretty much done without any rumour or speculation beforehand. Plus the RTS signing was perfectly spun as a swap for Tomkins which pretty much took any sting out of Tomkins leaving early.

Been a great servant for Souths, I don't think many souths fans would have hate for Isaac, he's always put in for souths (even in the bad years) and he's earned the right to do what's best for his family and himself. Congrats Isaac in the new deal. Isaac Going gives us a chance to sign some younger players, gives McInnes a chance to step up

The rumours of Isaac talking with warriors and wanting to go home have been around for years
