Kiwis Do the haka before they get the groceries these days so this is no surprise...

That's because these days Kiwis are always....

Why would we even consider letting him go? The people running our club are just too nice.

Luke has always said he wants to finish his career playing for the Warriors. Now that we've won the Premiership he is probably ready to make that move. Cam McInnes is hugely talented so the succession plan would be good timing if it happened this year, we just need to lock up McInnes now

Letting Luke go might mean we wrap up all of AJ, McInnes, Auvaa and Grevsmuhl and still have money to spare

I think this is what it comes down to. Keep Luke and you probably lose two of these guys. Release him and you're a good chance of keeping them. Souths may just decide that the difference between Luke and McInnes is small enough to warrant the release if it means they can keep Johnston, and Grevsmuhl as well.

We'll see. Like Matai, there's been Luke rumours before.

McInnes is not in Luke's league as a #9. So who do we get to replace Luke?
That's yet to be seen

But where will each be in two years when age impacts Luke's style of play? McInnes is an extremely well balanced hooker - I won't go so far to say he will be as good as Luke at his peak but I definitely think he is more talented than Peats, Api and Segs

Playing hardball on Matai probably bit Manly in the arse though. They'd have been better letting him go and they might have retained one of their playmakers. Hopefully Souths take note.

Warriors should be hunting for a no 6 and not a hooker...Townsend is their weak link but Luke would add another attacking option and can kick a bit as well.

Huge signing if it completes for the Warriors. Luke and RTS change the shape of the Warriors spine significantly. Warriors will attack more direct.

No6 has to go to Lolohea, he has amazing footy smarts, ball playing ability, superb feet, blazing speed and by the end of this season he will understand the game a whole lot better.

He truly reminds me of Robbie Paul a player the Warriors missed out on years ago.

If we get Luke, we gain an extra playmaker. If SJ fires as he does in a Kiwis jersey, we'd only need our 6 to make tackles and very occasionally take the pressure off the other two. You've also got RTS chiming in, so the amount of ball-playing options are well stocked.
