No worries. Just sorry it was drawn out so long and I didn't have the time to provide a proper write up for the top ten.

I've seen 45 of the top 50.
And 24 of the ones that didnt quite make it.

I cant believe She's All That never made it!

I was totally ready to razz out this list until I saw The Shawshank Redemption at number one, which proved to be the redemption of this thread for me...

I was surprised The Fellowhip of The Ring was ahead of both Two Towers and Return of The King...

Big ups to Shawshank though, I still can't believe Forrest Gump won the Oscar over it!

some pretty average films in amongst the classics there.

am I the only one that doesn't think Shawshank is particularly great?

give me Blade Runner, Trainspotting, Fight Club (even Forrest Gump..) etc etc anyday.

This is like that Twilight Zone episode, where the word money has been replaced by dinosaur, and the lead guy doesnt know about it.

Excuse Me ? I DO NOT capiche !! WTF ? Never in my entire life would i rent out a movie by that name, but im more concerned how this actually made it to number 5. Who the hell was in it ? Who the hell directed it ? Bloody Hell ... dont tell me ive slipped into the Twilight Zone ffs..................... noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Starred Jim Carrey and Kate Winslett as well as Kirsten Dunst, Elijah Wood, and Mark Ruffallo. Won an Oscar for best screenplay (Charlie Kauffman of Adaptation/Being John Malkovich fame). Directed by Michel Gondry. Very surreal. Top flick.
