Not a flano fan S73?
Ha - you know it Carch.

Never have been. He is damaged goods in my opinion. Learnt his trade being Stickys right hand man for a decade or more and Sticky is in the GF for the worst NRL coach of the past 10 years.

Personally I'm sure Flanno is a good bloke to have a beer with or as neighbour. Players all seem to like him.

But he just don't have the smarts for this job. Out of his depth. The peptides incident hammered that home.

The best football we have played since Langy was last year under Morris. With a spare parts team and some young blood in Gagan Holmes and Brown us supporters were genuinely loving it again.

Yesterday was a slide back down the crapper to the type numbskull football sticky and Flanno are famous for.

As I said he may be a lovely bloke but he comes across as dumb as dogshite.

He has peaked.

It gets no better.

He can't see the value of Peachey but chases Mitch Brown and Ayshord.

If he was at any other club I'd be laughing me tits off - but the fact we have him kills me.

Look on the bright side you blokes, we could have been belted by 40 like Manly.

Chin up fellas, long way to go yet.

If we played the Eels, they would've put more than 40 on us.

Make no mistake, we were the worst team of the weekend.

Anyway, it was only round 1 & it's insignificant - it's how we react & go forward that matters.

Not insignificant! Every point is needed by the end of the season. Our first game shows how good our off season preparation has been. Coach and assistant need to shown the door.

ASADA finally over, A near full roster, first game of the season, a sunday arvo home game playing a team many have tipped to finish bottom four.
What we dished up was f**king diagraceful.

The 'it's only round one" call.....?
Might as well forfeit.

Is that our attitude?

Madge takes his boys to Suncorp and makes the statement that we are the premiers and blows Wayne to Kingdom come. The intensity they bring and keep up for 80 says to every other club "do not ff**k with us!'

We are that shit hot we can afford to give up the first 2 points and start next week.

We are an absolute shite stain on the comp.
Starting round 1 on the bottom of the ladder.

The worst part...... It is another season of 'wow we won a game and now we play the team coming last - we might win 2 in a row!'
And then we get rolled by some team of nevilles.
Another season of watching rejects like brown and Beale do Ff**k all and never get dropped.
Another year of dropped ball terrible kicking and stoopid plays.

Actually 3 more years.

I'm with you S73.

Not only did they resign Flanno for 3 more years based on, well I don't know but they also signed a bloke from a neighbouring club who did nothing there. FMD.

If we were a large corporation, the shareholders would be calling for heads to roll.

Sometimes I think I may be overly suspicious but there has to be more to resigning the coach for 3 more years amid the asada shyte fight.

It happened on HIS watch.

HE was in charge.

It was HIS responsibility.

S73 is exactly right - he is R Stuart clone - the most over rated boring coach around. Might be a nice bloke but that isn't a pre-requisite to being a good coach.

Tell Gallen he playing prop. I am the boss and you'll like or lump it. Put a rocket up A Fafita for his stupid smirk when he makes mistakes. No laughing and joking with the opposition after a loss. Try some youth. Who knows, maybe they might produce the goods.

It's okay guys. We're all happy to continue accepting mediocrity, right?

You are kidding. We were done by a mere 4 points. We started off slowly and played catch up. The difference was a run away try, against the run of play. We made several stupid mistakes that allowed them to get out of gaol. We did win the second half but just not quite enough.
Three teams were beaten by nearly 30 points, including Manly, Cows and Bronks. We didn't win, we played under expectations. the players know this, the coaching staff know this, Lyall Gorman knows this.
They also know that the fickle, impatient, transient fan group want instant gratification. Well these bulimic followers will just have to be patient and let the others do their job. The results will be known in September.
