As for the rumour that both going to the Dogs, I think they would probably stay away from them. The got Dufty thinking they can fix his defence, how did that go? Didn't even last half a season?
Nah they can both go, neither have any speed whatsoever and I’ve yet to see any type of ball playing ability from Matt even though he has 50 games under his belt now. There are many on here who were happy to say goodbye to Garrick and SAAB. Garrick was classified as not being good enough for 1st grade and too slow and SAAB took too long to field kicks and then turn and make metres.
I hope we are not exiting these 2, before they have had time to develop fully.
Mat scored one of the best individual tries you’d ever see so the talent is there. The Feagai twins are good players that need time. I hope they both stay but wherever they end up they will be solid first graders.
We will probably be stuck with Suli, powerful runner who can not pass or defend in the centres.
Move him to the backrow or arivadechi
I don't know what type of ball playing you're expecting from him on the wing. In his few games at centre he's shown he's capable of throwing a nice pass and has good footworkNah they can both go, neither have any speed whatsoever and I’ve yet to see any type of ball playing ability from Matt even though he has 50 games under his belt now.
Neither have a place in the modern day backline for the NRL.
One great try doesn't make a summer..Mat scored one of the best individual tries you’d ever see so the talent is there.
Not enough self belief. Has been poorly coached since making FG.
I want both Feagais to stay.
I agree with your comments but i would say he is at sea in attck as well. Now i know our team has been poor for several years, but he simply does not excite me as a winger or even as a solid first grader. While we can point to the examples you noted, but when was the last time he beat his man with pace or a fend or a swerve? Rava might not be fast, but get him 2 or even 3 on 1 close to the line and i would back him most times to score. Feagei to me does not offer anything apart from being a junior and people's reluctance to let him go in case he comes good under a new coach. After something like 50 games that i think he has played, IMO most top clubs would have moved him on by now.Matt scored the match winner against the Roosters with a magic pick up of a cross field kick... (Flanagan was a commentator that night btw and raved about it). He also did some tidy work setting up a try for B Hunt v Souths at Kogarah. So he has shown glimpses in attack. He's just all at sea in defence
NO WAY. The only thing he keeps doing well is, going infield, missing his man and leaving gaping holes for his opposition winger to stroll thru. I'd have preferred having his brother play in his place for the past two years to be brutally honest.Mat is an absolute keeper.
he's also down on skill, ability, speed and footy smartsdown on confidence but even further down on defensive reads and speed. A squad backup player at best
Spot on. The bullgrubs are welcome to them, specially Matt who needs a seeing eye dog or a frontal lobotomy as he has a big problem equating himself with his chosen position. In simple terms, the nong wont stay on his wing. They have both already got to the dogs but one can only hope that they are joining the dogs for next season
Max has rarely had a chance to impress at the top as his brother has, mainly because of injury. But imho he is the most able of the two, going on what I have seen of him in Reggies. Bottom line tho, is both are poor defenders and readers in defense which has to cancel out either wasting our salary cap any further.Matt has shown me a bit & Max very little so I can see why he’s been told to look around.
