Has both brothers been told to leave yet.
They are letting forwards go but the issues was the outside backs

Ryan Webb on a podcast this week said interviews (exit or otherwise) were being conducted with Flanno this week. I haven’t heard anything from them so far.

I'd say most of the issue was with the left edge and that includes the halves. Once stripped for numbers the only option left was to compress or un in to cut the movement off leaving the winger unmarked.

I was surprised that this problem was not addressed by Car.

Good to see Saints win something at the Daly M's. Well done as it was a team effort that try that is for sure finished off by Matt Feagai.

Hopefully we have at least 1 player in the NRL and NRLW standing on stage for the team of the year for their position next season.
Well done indeed. A try beautifully orchestrated by "Our Boy Benny" and everyone playing their parts as directed.
The shitty chip down the blind side certainly sucked in the Rorters defence which opened the field for the last gasp attack:clap::clap::clap:

That kick only came good when Lomax taped it back. With out the tap back it was just a shitty no look, pray & hope kick with no thought or tactic behind it.

Exactly this , it was a complete no idea what to do kick from Hunt , as most of his kicks are the same ....... As you say if it wasn't tapped back by Lomax ( he competes for everything ) it would have broken down , then from there on it was ok and they got the result ...... But to say it was a Hunt thought out kick to set up the try , its a no from me .......

The Thread is primarily about Matt Feagai.

I wonder if he gained a further 7 kg of functional muscle could he be a good backrower? He seems to carry strongly in his returns and has scored a few try’s as he carried blokes 5 /10 metres to get over the try line. He is a slow winger, but sufficient speed for a running backrower.

I make this observation as I have noticed his strength and if we have to keep the Feagai on the books next year Matt in particular may transition successfully into the fotwards.I still remember Matt Prior being recruited by Flanagan at the sharks and going from a comparatively lanky guy to a bulked up no nonsence powerful front rower.

Matt may surprise if elevated to the forwards.

Good observation !
That barnstorming try he scored last year against the broncos was exceptional

We have plenty of better options in the pipeline.

Do we?

such as? (Imho we only have 1 top edge player, Su’a)

think about his handling (good all round) , his speed (slowish for a winger, but fast for the edge), and his defence. (Sure, occasional hits from the wing are different, but I think it’s where he will end up. But does need work and bulking up for that position)
