The Daily Telegraph has been almost universally condemned by the people on social media.

Finally people are waking up to this shit rag.

Next week they’ll have a story about “political correctness gone mad” or something.

It doesn’t surprise me that the vote is so one sided. Most people here are so anti-media, especially News Ltd that of course they were going to vote YES.

The problem could have been solved if the Bulldogs put on their idiotic display behind close doors where the media and public most likely would never have heard about it.
You do realise they hired a private room don't you???

If I was Greenburg, I'd be calling a Canterbury official into my office and asking the following questions:

Did anyone shit in a shoe?
Did anyone f**k a dog/animal?
We're any prostitutes killed?
Was pubic hair set alight?
Did you piss in each other's mouth?

If the answer is no to the questions, then it's game on

Haven’t touched or read the gutter trash rag in over 20 years but had to take my elderly father for a hair cut this morning and the barber had the telecrap sitting there so I flicked through the mentioned article plus the rest of the sports, that is 3 mins of my life I will never get back.

The pathway back from the bridge climb goes right near the balcony the Dogs players were on so a very good chance they could seen, I know because I am a regular at the pub and it is fun waiving to the bridge climbers and them waving back when they go past.
Ok, and do you really think that people were doing the bridge climb on a Monday night? You get a fantastic view of everything when it's dark right?

I have been there in the afternoon and the evening and it would be very possible to see the balcony from the bridge climb return when it’s dark, the balcony is quite well lit, they do have night cllimbs on the bridge, have seen plenty of climbs returning after 8pm when I have had dinner there.

big hit!

well i never get onto DT, News or other websites I know they own.....and I don't have fox.

do same, run these merkins out of business.

unfortunately, i'm sure half the folks with outrage here + the rest of the rugby league community got onto their websites and presented the merkins with a whole bunch of clicks and traffic data for their efforts.

well done at perpetuating the behaviour

The limit of most people's interaction with this that I'm aware of - comes back to the front page tweeted out breathlessly by the Tele, its editors, The Mole and Dan Ginnane. I'm yet to read the full story in the Tele and don't plan to, like plenty of others.

I’ve done it at night.
It’s quite spectacular .

On a rainy Monday night in Winter?

Regardless, who in their right mind would be offended by seeing this unfold?

Dunno if it's already been posted, but pretty spot on by the Betoota.

I'd also like to say that in a way, I'm glad this happened for 2 reasons:

(1) The fact that the majority of the NRL community (when I say that, I mean the fans not necessarily the NRL itself), including many fans from rival clubs have come out and stood beside the Bulldogs stating that this is absolutely a NOTHING story, and;

(2) That many more people now truly see what kind of a pathetic excuse for a media source the tele really is!

This. There are fans who acknowledge they despise the Bulldogs club who think this is a massive stitch-up by the Tele.

Disgraceful. The Bulldogs are the first group of men to drink so much alcohol that they vomited and/or passed out. As we've seen with other Mad Mondays and every other boys night out, alcohol is for calmly sipping while playing cards and discussing the stock market.

Nudity is only allowed amongst footballers if it is a harmless joke in front of Fox Sports camera for finals promos, nudity in the company of other men is sinful, these idiots are acting like they get naked in front of each other after every game!

No, they hired a room on private premises. It clearly isn't very "private". But I agree no journo scum, no outrage. Stupidity to think they wont be there and kind of sad we should expect it from one of the games "partners"

What's your solution?

And before you come up with "at their own leagues club" (public venue) or "at Belmore" (reporters, listening devices and helicopters)... try something else.

These cretins are out to get them come hell or high water, that's the story.
