No you're completely right and it kind of worries me that the players weren't notified. I really hope Seibold has that same talent. All the players that have gone backwards seems like a lack of motivation rather than a coaching problem. Using Crichton as an example he has elevated to a SOO level player within a year. I did not see this coming and I think Madge has to take some credit for that. Crichton was nowhere near the player he is now this time last year. You look at Murray as well? That kid is another freak who looked like a completely different player in his last game compared to his first. Madge did have a great ability of grooming the younger players.
Now the worry is how those young guys feel.....

Madge is the man who coached us to a premiership, our first in my lifetime, and nobody can take that away from him.
Unfortunately i feel the evidence was stacking up against him over the past two seasons and the decision had to be made.
I would expect the fans to always respect him and his achievements with us as for many of us, 2012-2014 were our glory years.
But now it's time to move on and enter the next chapter of this great clubs history.

Exactly. Whether you love or hate him Madge gave everything to this club and he has definitely earned respect.

Jesus give the guy a break. We need cheap back ups, we can't have a team full of top draw players.
This is the problem with the 'dud' list when these cheap players are released they have to be replaced with other cheap players, it's simple maths.

At least let him hold a ball for us before you label him a dud.

I don't think this is a smart back up signing......

It's as simple as that.....

Tonumapea would have been better....

We need to go forwards not backwards....

Is he available? It seems as far as I can tell he is on contract with Storm still.

Edit he is on contract until 2019 and as a raised Victorian I doubt they will want to lose him.

Well that's a shame.....

I guess they wouldn't want to lose someone valuable like that but they let Kennar go a while back I believe.....

They are both cheap and I sure know who the better option is....

The point is one isn't an option. You can only sign who is available. That's not dud recruitment it's just reality.

Well it was rumoured Melbourne may let him go.....

Imo Kennar should be nowhere near first grade.....

If he just stays at Norths all year I'm fine with that....

I'd put Fui centre over Kennar if we are desperate...
