I reckon it is good to go. I think it will be a case of suck it & see.

yeh time will tell. I would consider limiting the number of some powers. but until you try it who knows
mafia should get a set % of towns points.

say 15 townies = 1500 points
mafia should get = say a 1000 2/3 to even it out

mafia pts was something i was wondering about. I figured a pretty standard mafia is going to have 2 kills, 1 redirect, 1 silence, 2 protection chains...and maybe some other random ability. These abilities i've listed add up to 440 pts. Giving a mafia 100 pts would be crazy i think in this system. They would have all of the above plus a recruit, autolynch...the list goes on. I was thinking 450 pts and they can increase this with drawbacks. I dunno though...thoughts?

Not sure on amounts but mafia should get there 100 each and a % of total towns to use for extras. So the system works for different size games.

So say

15 town = 15000 points
4 mafia = 400 points plus 20% towns total = 300 extra
% can be altered to even out but the idea is there

I'm working on a Jurassic Park Mafia that I think is going to be pretty awesome.

yo mick, going off of your idea of having a draft for your role. You could have a bunch of role "names" that have power packages that you previously come up with, and people draft them in a two round snake draft. Some roles will be good, some bad. Could be awesome. For example:
Calmtits - one time Silence/nightly roleblock
KTF Investigator - night kill
BM - You come up as mafia when investigated although you are town
Super Spy - Investigate alignment/immune to night kills
Shit Role - Double vote
Aw Hell Naw - Roleblock x2
Juggernaut - 2 hodors
etc, etc, etc.

Create 2x as many roles as you have players. Run it as a snake so whoever chooses first, also chooses last, to make it fair. Just an idea.
